I am a 22 year old Canadian who likes to take a stab at writing and then never post anything because I'm too much of a chicken...That stops now.

So, a little about me. I am currently finishing up my final semester at the University of Western Ontario, majoring in Film Studies and while I may not be the brightest student, I do my best. My passions include reading and of course writing, photography and well, films. I'm fairly shy and because of this I tend not to leave reviews, although I'm trying to break myself of that habit. Shyloh is not my actual name, I chose it because it fits with my personality of being, well shy. And I just like the name.

As you may have figured out by the Dixon tacked on to the end of my penname, I am a huge Walking Dead fan, my favourite characters being the Dixons. I am still not over Merle's death and I refuse to let him die! I am also a huge fan of Norman and Michael outside of Walking Dead and so finding out that they were cast in the show was a major plus! Just don't make me pick who I love more because my head will explode.

Other fandoms I belong to include: Supernatural, Harry Potter, Tolkien, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Star Trek, The Boondock Saints and Hannibal.

I hope, key word being hope, to have a story posted here soon, I have a lot of ideas and a lot of plans waiting to be written. When I write, I tend not to go with canon pairings, or even common pairings. There are tons of popular pairings I actually loathe, but I will not hate on them. Basically to avoid this I tend to use original characters if what I write happens to be a romance.

Basically, give me any of my characters and an OC and I'm happy...I'm not saying I hate the ones with already existing characters, I just like the freedom that having an OC allows, you can expand the universe as you want and make it your own, while still staying true to the actual story.
