Elves were not made to endure the horrors of war, their souls are too soft and their hearts too easily broken. Even so, some are more bothered by it than others. Following the end of the Ring War, it comes to the attention of his friends that perhaps Legolas is more troubled than he lets on. They rush him home, and hope he can be saved before his only option is to sail west.

Sometimes it feels like they are perpetually at war in Mirkwood. Sometimes, when news like this comes, of what horrible things the orcs have done once again to people who have never deserved it, they don't know what to do once their job is finished. Or: orcs attack a Mirkwood village, and Legolas takes out his frustration with sparring weapons. Oneshot, light angst/feels.

When Aragorn challenges Legolas to a race the result is somewhat unexpected. Just the Three Hunters being ever so slightly ridiculous. Written for Teitho's February challenge.

A what-if oneshot: In the scene in RotK where Pippin held the palantir, what if Legolas had grabbed it out of his hands instead of Aragorn? Hurt/comfort and some light angst, as well as a good heaping of Aragorn and Legolas friendship and bromance. I just can't get enough of it.

Chapter 4: Part 2 of a two part story, following Legolas and one of his horses in the general trials and tribulation of a horse growing up.

A routine hunting party ends in tragedy as the shadow over Mirkwood grows, and Legolas is left with friend who has shattered in grief. Yet time does not stop, and they must all deal with the aftermath of what death brings to them. Maybe within it all, they can find some hope. Oneshot, with minor OC character death.

The history books will write down that they won, that their last desperate move paid off and they defeated Sauron. But for some, seeing the fields where just a year ago they had been fighting, where they could have died, can bring back the worst and the best memories at the same time. Aragorn and Legolas in Minas Tirith, a year after the war that none of them are sure is over.

This story goes along with the movie but I delve into the thoughts of Fili and Kili throughout it and also add in some missing scenes between the brothers. Goes along with my previous stories like this (Barrel Ride and Smaug's Inferno).

They said that the friendship between Legolas Greenleaf, son of the Elvenking, and Gimli, son of Glóin, was unique. But those that said so didn't know what happened much later to their respective fathers.

That strange feeling when something just can't be real, just can't have happened, and so must be a dream... Two times in Legolas' life where he desperately hopes that what has happened is not real, has not happened, and the one time where he hoped above all else that it was.

A weary horse makes it to Imladris in the dead of night, a wounded rider slumped over their back. In the commotion that ensues, nobody has time to ask who this mysterious elf is, lest their life is lost. But the twins may already know...

A nice cheerful oneshot- Aragorn has been working hard for too long. Some elves decide to take matters into their own hands when a snowfall arrives and the world turns white outside Gondor. Just how soaked can our favourite characters get?
