I wrote this to get me feelings out after something I wrote bombed:

You think the war’s over.
You think that you’ve won.
But let me tell you:
I’ve only begun.
I don’t care what you think.
I don’t care what you say.
I love to write,
And I’ll do it anyway.
You don’t understand!
I do this for Jesus!
And I will not listen to your
‘This does not please us!’
I will not give up.
I won’t cease to fight.
You can’t diminish my faith
Or my desire to write.
Even when you criticize.
Even when you hurt.
I won’t allow my feelings
To be dragged through the dirt.
So keep this in mind:
I will not surrender!
For maybe I’m chosen
To be God’s sender.
