Ours is not the only world. On the other side of the mirror is another so much like our own but yet so different. They are two sides to the same coin: one cannot exist without the other, but interaction between both worlds is strictly forbidden. When Rin falls through the mirror, there is more to worry about than if she will ever go back to her world again.
