After 8 years of swearing that I'd never read Twilight, because it defies everything Anne Rice said vampires were like, I finally broke down and read SM's Twilight series. It took me watching New Moon over and over, at the part Jake and Paul fighting, for me to ask my cousin for the first book. From there the public library for the next 2 books , and finally buying Breaking Dawn, the library didn't have it for days. PART 2 of Breaking Dawn Jacob's POV is my favorite part of the whole series for me. Jacob's POV made me want to write him a happier ending. I used that part of the book as my inspiration. I got 17 chapters into my fanfic and decided that I was bored with it. It sits in my room untouched for 5 months. I may or may not pick it back up.

I started looking up fanfics during my story just to see where everyone went with their relationships with Renesme and Jacob and was sadly disappointed with my options. I thought my story was good, lots of lemons and a good bit of drama; however, I discovered stories with other wolves and Bella and got hooked on Paul.

I never gave Paul much thought because he was an imprinted wolf and I was totally obsessed with the book version of Jacob, I don't like the movie Jacob except without a shirt (that's f*ing sexy). Paul is a big perv and I should have seen it sooner. I like that everyone writes him as an asshole that likes sex. I fell in love and proceeded to read everything that involves Paul corrupting Bella because its so fun watching her go from prude to sex monster.

I don't like Bella as a character, not even as an OOC. I don't like Emily either, I think even as SM's character she is fake. I don't feel like SM did justice to the wolf pack. She made such interesting characters that never get explored and for that I'm not a big SM fan. Probably won't read anything else by her. I have to thank her though because she is the only author I've felt compelled to read/write fanfic about. Its a close minded thing to say but I'll never read anything else in the fandom world. There aren't any other books that I think is unfinished or deserve to have a side/alternate story. That's just personal opinion, everyone is entitled to one and this is mine.

My wolves in order that I look for new stories for:

1. Paul. I love dominant, asshole, hot headed Paul.

2. Sam. I love Alpha hard-ass Sam.

3. Embry. I love a dominant Embry. That's just too sexy.

4. Jared. There are not enough Jared stories.

5. Jacob. I love the dark, angry, Alpha, dominant Jacob. I don't care to much for the happy Jake because Bella hurt him deep and I think that he'd lose some of that happy sunshiney-ness.

That being said, I'm definitely Team Wolf.

Taoistelf for The Alpha's Prerogative. Sam in this story is breathtaking. The lupine behavior and mannerism is awesome. If there were people who actually turned into wolves I think they lose their humanity and become more animal. This could be the real reason the wolves imprint, to remember how to be human and the imprints bring that to them. This theory is backed by this story. At first, Sam is very closed off and he even tells Bella he's more animal and if she wants the man she was going to have to find him. This story isn't an imprint story. Sam chooses to mate with Bella. Choice seems to be a common theme in most wolf stories. I love this story.

Chances. I love the Jacob in this story. Right out of the gate you are thrown for a loop. This Jacob makes Paul look like a preschool player. Jake is dark and very dominant. He embraces his Alpha bloodline. Bella isn't weak in this story and she passively fights for Jake hard in this story. A totally different take on how the imprint effects the wolf and the imprintee. Love this Jacob story.

Unseelie Sidhe for The Devil You Know. This is by far the best Paul/Bella story I've found. Paul is truly a beast in this story. He is savage, scary, dark, sexy, dangerous, animal. Paul is beyond words in this story. He is every bit the hot headed, angry, asshole. He's not the man whore that is circulating, but he sure does have massive sex appeal and Bella fights really hard to stay 'just friends' with Paul. I don't think this is an imprint story and I love that. I like this story because even though Paul isn't of Alpha blood he has both Sam and Jacob scared of him. Alpha orders don't work on this Paul. I think a lot of that has to do with both Sam's and Jacob's human sides, as well as their wolves, are afraid of Paul in both forms. Anyway, this story is really good.

Jarms for Dark Matter. OMG! Jacob in this story is to die for. So dark, angry, dominant, a true Alpha wolf. The story is a fledgling but its headed towards unbeatable. She has done awesome job with lupine behavior mixed with human angst. This story is so awesome I really can't describe how good it is. It was like falling down the damn rabbit hole and landing in a pile of what the fuck just happened. The banner is definitely spank bank material. For those of you who like dark stories mixed with dark sexuality this story is for you. There is an outtake for this story which can be found on her bio page. I'm on edge for the next chapter to this story.
