WHO I AM

My name is Joie (yes, I'm serious :P ). I grew up in the western half of Canada (not being vague, I just moved a lot, lol) I've always written things; stories, journals, extra notes for school just because I was itching to write, etc. My passion is for writing, regardless of what it is that I'm writing about although I do favour writing stories and -oddly enough- research papers. I fell in love with the Buffy universe, the Friends and the Hogwarts universes at a very young age, though I have always been very opinionated, so much so that I would write my own stories if I didn't like what writers had done on the show/movie which is how I found my fondness for fan fiction. I am now a 21 year-old wife with 2 beautiful kittens and a job in the downtown core of my city. Things are quite stressful at this point in my life (shopping for a house, discussing children, all that fun adult bulls, lol) so finally learning to take a breath and get back to what I love, even for 20 minutes out of the day is a wonderful thing for me and has done wonders for my stress levels so I hope you find it as awesome as I do. :)

WHAT I'M WORKING ON

I've just started my account, it's one of those "first time caller, long time listener" type things. Anyways, at the moment, I'm working on stories for Tru Calling and a few stories stemming from Kelly Armstrong books. If you don't know who that is, I highly suggest you check out her books. I will be trying to dig up old stories to post but as for right now, I'm having a lot of fun with the new things I've been writing, and I've really been concentrating on them a lot. I really hope you like what I've come up with.
