About Me:

I am a writer at heart - always have been, always will be. I find myself watching people wondering, "I wonder what their story is..." I get inspiration at the most inopportune times: when I'm working and can't stop to jot down an idea, or when I'm in bed with my daughter and I don't dare get up and risk inciting the wrath of a cranky two-year-old. Most of my best ideas get lost in transit.

Others persevere and find their way to my laptop or a blank sheet of paper.

For me, FanFiction is an exercise for my mind when I've got major writer's block where my original stories are concerned. Some of my stories are not finished (I also write under the pen name ms.mutiny) and it's because I've lost the direction of those two stories - whatever force that may have been inspiring those has seemingly run its course. Forgive me for this, but I am convinced that I am a walking disaster - clumsy, fumbling, and forgetful. I am determined to finish all of the stories I start from now on!

My daughter is my life, plain and simple. She is the only thing is this world that keeps me from coming apart at the seams.

She and I have created a life together, living on the beach since my split with her father. It has been the best thing to ever happen to us. A blessing in disguise, if you will.

I am absolutely enamored with all things apocalyptic. I dig the vampires, but am obsessed with zombies and other catastrophic events that completely destroy civilization. Along with the idea of how to survive said catastrophe.
