There are many moments in Shepard's live which had given him reasons to live. But there was only one man Shepard wanted to stay alive for. Explores the first few weeks after the Normandy crashes on the Jungle planet. Kaidan needs to focus on leading the survivors to avoid falling into depression, but he knows it's only a matter of time before the pain of losing Shepard catches up to him. Story based on High EMS Destroy ending, was started before the EC. Except for some areas fits with EC too.

Kaidan learns that trust, once lost, is hard to rebuild. It takes time and dedication and in the end, sometimes what's not said is the most important. Kmeme fill.

Norah Alenko wondered how she missed it. The signs had always been there, but somehow she'd never put two-and-two together. Post ME3 AU.

If the Normandy's crew knew what they were in for, they would have stepped back to wonder if they were in the wrong line of work.
