Content to believe that immortal guardians are watching over them. And in time, a rag-tag group of beings will see that man is capable of things they could never have imagined possible.

Cortana and The Master Chief float aimlessly through space. What happens when a foe turned friend tells Cortana about the world they left behind. A Human/Covenant unity called the Systems Alliance, the wonders of their technology, and the discovery of a Prothean Archive on Mars.
