Loki is the child of tales long since assumed to be legends among the Jotuns. Loki goes to trial before Odin and a council of gods, facing judgment for his crimes on earth. How much must he suffer to begin to make amends? Part 4 in the "Loki's Redemption" series, an alternate version of the events following The Avengers and continuing into Thor: The Dark World.

After defeating Loki, Thor left earth and his fellow Avengers to bring Loki to Asgard so he would face justice for his crimes. Once he got there, his circumstances had changed, making it difficult to try and convict his criminal brother. For once the light had faded, the adult Loki was gone and a child was in his place. WARNINGS: Torture, Alternate Universe.

AU. Loki committed suicide after learning of his heritage and was replaced by an impostor. Thor et al only realized that after The Avengers, when that impostor revealed herself and teleported away cackling madly or something like that. They then went to find the real Loki. He is more impressive than they thought.

It's nostalgia that first chases Tony out on the streets. Then monsters, then Pepper, then just something time and again. For Loki it's banishment, having his magic taken, demons of the past that he may or may not remember, and slowly losing what little he has left. And if they somehow stumble upon each other again and again, so what? Frostiron. Warning: triggers. Now has a sequel.

Typical Asgardian torture consists of beatings, solitary confinement- torture. But that was too nice for Loki to have. Instead of dealing with it themselves- they send their son to Thanos for punishment. Now with Thor as the new king, and the Avengers in Asgard- Loki's return home will not run smoothly- and a dark intimacy sprouts between him- and the least suspected hero, Barton.

After Loki is punished for his crimes, he and Thor are sent back to Midgard to help the Avengers rebuild Manhattan. But when it becomes obvious that Loki is unwell physically as well as mentally, relationships are strained and healed as well as created. Rated T for the occasional language and frequent in-depth descriptions of illness and medical procedures.

If mind-controlled Barton doesn't come to spring Loki from the helicarrier, somebody else might have to. That somebody might be Tony Stark, who might not agree with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s interrogation methods and treatment of prisoners. Luckily, with Thor's help, Supervillain Rescue Mission is a go. Sequel to A Past Encounter. After a problematic turn of events,Thor brings the Avengers to Asgard in hopes that they would help defend Loki on his trial.
