Not my main account. Not actually sure if anything will come out of this. Not sure if actually legal. Oh well. Since summer has started, instead of reading all of those books I told myself I would, I decided to reread the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. Doing so prompted me to reread Midnight Sun, also by Stephenie Meyer, so I could see the two perspectives side-by-side. It's interesting. Even though the glory of Twilight has long since faded, I find myself drawn to it as I associate it with happier, albeit stranger, times. Rereading Twilight at this age presents a different look at the series. Now, however many years later, I am older than Bella Swan at this point in her life. I've experienced the monotony of a day in high school. I know how a crush works. I've experienced the same basic milestones that she has up to this point. Some were even experienced in the same state (Stephanie Meyer attended the same middle school as I did; do with this information what you wish). Back to Midnight Sun: I supremely dislike things unfinished. Don't even get me started on unfinished fic. Ugh. Therefore, I have decided to put my writing 'skillz' to the test and will try to complete all four books of the series through the perspective of Edward, with the format of Stephanie Meyer. I've also begun writing a sequel of sorts that explains Fred from The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. Takes place a little after Breaking Dawn. These will not be my priority by any means, and I probably won't even take them too seriously. This is just for kicks from the mind of justanotherboredsoul. Ayyye So have fun, be entertained, hell - send flames if you wish. I honestly do not care. But before you do any of that, read the Twilight Saga and Midnight Sun (and also The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, or whatever the hell it's called). Thanks for wasting even a portion of your time on lil ol' me, jabs |
