I thought it was probably time I put something here seeing as I'm now on my second story!

I'm female and in my mid 40s. I have always loved writing but never really felt confident to enough to actually put pen to paper (or fingers to keys) and publish anything. I've found fanfiction a wonderful way to explore writing as the character development is generally already done so it's easy to just get on with the actual story.

I am, sadly, obsessed with NCIS! I love the family dynamics between the team and the way in which, particularly in the earlier seasons, there was a definite distinction between Gibbs as dad and the team as his kids. I also love watching Gibbs interacting with child characters. It brings out his warmer, softer side and gives us a glimpse of how he may have been with Kelly. As you can also tell from my stories I am a Jibbs fan. I truly believe Jenny was Gibbs only other true love other than Shannon and, if given the opportunity he would have eagerly rekindled their relationship. Sadly, the writers of NCIS didn't agree with me.

My stories set in the 4th and 5th seasons of NCIS - 2006/7

In my first story, 'Reversed Psychologies', Tony and Ziva are hit with a de-aging serum and regress to the ages of 10 and 5. In my little universe, they will remain this way for around two years. This gives me the opportunity as a writer to explore the concept of them living with Gibbs as their father and the way in which he deals with them on a daily basis. This first story will also deal with the more psychological aspects of Tony and Ziva's personalities and, by exploring their first childhoods, I hope that as a writer I can put forward my own ideas as to why they may have the characteristics we see on the show.

My second story kind of grew out of the first as I wanted to explore the relationship between Jenny and Gibbs. I didn't want to pull away from the original plot lines of Reversed Psychologies and so decided to create a sequel of sorts entitled 'Rekindling the Flame. In my little 'universe' Jenny does not die, either from illness or in the line of duty.

My plan is to write several stories using this 'universe'. My third story will centre around the family going on an extended vacation over the summer. As for the rest, time will tell.

I live in Australia and therefore my language structure is influenced by English and Australian culture. As NCIS is set in the USA I have tried to use as much American language syntax as possible but I know there are many occasions when I either don't know the American term for a certain product or I fall into Australian slang by mistake. If you notice this or are unsure of anything, please feel free to let me know. I will happily change it if I feel it is necessary to the story.

I love reviews - who doesn't! I appreciate anyone who takes the time to write a review. If you are also a writer you will understand the joy created when someone has left a message in that little box at the bottom of each page. So, a big thank you to all who take the time to do this.
