The visit of the king to Winterfell changes the course of Jon Snow's life as a possible truth about his parentage is revealed. At the time when I started this story no one knew who Jon's mother but this is one of my theories on it. Rated T for now but might change later on. Anyone who reads my stories knows there is often a twist in them, normally at the end!

This started with an idea I had of Robb and maybe Catelyn being alive getting free from Freys only to find Targaryens, and Jon specifically on the throne. Of course they're a bit confused. Jon Snow rose from the blaze of the pyre, hair and eyes burning, skin blistered but unburnt, brandishing a flaming Valyrian steel sword. The look on Alliser Thorne's face was one of disbelief and dread and Melisandre smiled. "Fire cannot kill a dragon, Alliser Thorne." she told him and walked away.

Set shortly after the conquest of King's Landing by Daenerys Targaryen and the fall of the north to the White Walkers. Basically an account of the direction I would like the series to eventually take. It also plays on two popular fan theories: Three-Headed dragon and R L J. A 13-part series and my first actual fan fiction! All feedback is greatly appreciated.

A spider and a sun princess conspired to keep the last of the dragons alive and out of King's Landing, now their efforts must bear fruition, for the Iron Throne belongs to the dragons, and the dragons will take what is theirs.

Thousands of Northmen were at the Twins, when Walder Frey made his move. A dozen people had heard of Robb's plans to name Jon his heir. One signed document pertaining to the latter lay amidst hundreds of tents and people. And, doubtless, there were guards at Robb's tent; and who's to say one of them didn't put two and two together? (Manderly isn't a character! What the hell!)

The impending visit of King Robert forces Ned to reveal to Jon and Catelyn the truth he has kept hidden these past fourteen years. Jon's deep violet eyes mark him as the son of Crown Prince Rhaegar and Lyanna Stark. He sends him to squire with Howland Reed but greenseeing isn't the only secret hidden at Greywater Watch and across the sea Dany refuses to accept her brother's wishes.

Daenerys and Viserys Targaryen never fled across the sea. Instead they stayed in Westeros, flitting from one place to another, forever in fear of the Usurper. But, whilst hiding in the North, they are discovered by a certain bastard boy. Instead of uncovering them, Jon Snow vows to protect them, and they accept him with open arms. But Daenerys may find her heart is open as well...

Several key differences bring about a vastly divergent path for the boy who would have been Jon Snow. A true dragon will rise from the union of ice and fire creating new paths not only for Jon but Lyanna, Rhaella, and Daenerys as well. Alliances will shift and loyalties will be tested as the Roses Stags Falcons and Lions are reminded the Dragons still have Claws.

No longer a Snow but a Stark, Jon has been given the chance to live the life he always wished for as the Liege Lord of Winterfell. But with it comes strife, turmoil, danger and a crown he was never prepared for. Meanwhile there are tales of the stormborn Dragon Queens attempts to sail to Westeros. Will fire find allegiance with ice?
