I've been reading Twilight fanfiction for the last year or so, but I'm just now writing this profile bio. Like many readers, I got to the "fade to black" parts of Breaking Dawn and said, "Awww!" And then, I figured that others needed to be as...curious as I was and I found Twilight fanfic. I've been reading fanfic for the last year or so, but I've only recently started to try and participate more in the fandom.

I'm a twenty-something, rapidly approaching thirty-something, woman living in the Minneapolis. It's cold, and in the winter I read a lot of fanfiction. Of course, I keep reading it in the summer; I just read it outside.

I write technical manuals for a living, so in my spare time I like reading things I enjoy. I do write some fanfiction, but I haven't been brave enough to post it anywhere...yet.

I discovered Twilight randomly in a bookstore in Fall 2005. My sister bought me the first book, which I didn't read until about a year later. When I started reading it during my lunch break, I literally couldn't put it down. When I realized there were sequels coming, I held out reading those until they all came out. I'm not good at delayed gratification. When I got to "the scene" in Eclipse, I literally threw my book across my bedroom. I then read New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn all in the span of a week. It would have been sooner, but I had to fit work and sleep in there too.

I am decidedly Team Edward. My co-workers all know this, and for this year's Secret Santa I received an Edward Cullen mousepad. It's pretty sweet.

I have interests besides Twilight, despite what my friends may tell you. I read other books, and some of them even have nothing to do with vampires! I also like walking around Minnesota's lakes when it's not below 0 outside. Yes, I'm not a native Minnesotan.

I've found so many wonderful fics through this web site, and they've inspired me to actually start writing myself.
