Author has written 3 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Hey guys! My name is Vi, short for Violet. I write fan fiction, and plenty of it, in multiple fandoms, so thanks so much for checking out my work! I'll tell you guys a little bit about myself now! All my friends say I can talk forever and ever, and i know they're right. Let's hope i don't bore you too much with my story. Currently, I'm an uprising lawyer/writer who lives in the wonderful, crazy world that you all do! I spend most of my time daydreaming about storylines and fandoms, so I rarely pay attention to the world around me. Clearly, I'm a daydreamer. I adore writing, will do anything possible to get my hands on more fan fiction, and have more plot bunnies roaming around my mind than should be possible. I have at least fifty future fanfics I would like to write (some one-shots, some multi-chap) across a few fandom, and I'm constantly discovering and being sucked into more and more everyday! Make sure to check me out on tumblr @princsslydia! Three fundamental truths about me: I am proudly Hamilton obsessed, don't be surprised if you see multiple references to them in my fics. My all time OTP is Percy and Annabeth (Percabeth) from Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, I would sell my soul for them, no questions asked. I am always listening to music. I'm listening to it as you read this. Now, back to my story. I first started writing when I was very young, and have been reading since i was even younger. I can't even remember the first book I ever read, or even the first chapter book I ever read, since I was so little. I love to read, and it is what drew me to writing in the first place. My faves include : Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Heroes of Olympus, Harry Potter, The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, The Illuminae Files, The Hunger Games, The Sisters Grimm and so many more that if I attempted to list them we'd be here for a few centuries. So books were always my safe haven, especially now as a young adult in a changing world, they are always some place I can go to. I always listen to music while I write, as it provides me a great deal of inspiration, and I can really derive feelings from it. A warning to my readers now, a large portion of the fic I write will be M or MA, although I definitely have some very nice fluffy ones there too. Music is also a great grounding point for me, and it helps me get into my mind a little and stop with my worrying. Currently, I'm working on a long multi-chap fic that I hope you guys will all enjoy, but on days when I need breaks from writing that, I often pump out a few cute drabbles or one-shots i hope you will all enjoy! writing for me is an escape, a place where i can go that is of my creation, and where I can express my thoughts better in writing that I can to people. It sounds weird, but it really is true. Writing is like a huge stress reliever for me, something that I do because i love it, not because i feel obligated to someone or something. Some history on me and fanfiction. I love fanfiction. I once saw this post about it that sums it up perfectly. Fanfiction is insane. People pump out full length novels just because they love something so much. And I think there's something so amazing about that. Although fandoms get intense and highly messed up (I'm looking at you, Harry Potter) we're there for one reason, we love the material that has been supplied to us. Everyone knows that often, we do not agree with what the writes of the piece are giving us, so we take matters into our own hands. Fanfiction is for no one else but the writer, and for those brave enough to showcase their work, for those readers out there that love seeing their favourite characters analysed, written about, and transported through the mind of many. For me, fanfiction is a place where I can write about characters that have helped me through a difficult time in my life, and I can do it my way. I don't have to worry about anything else. The words are mine. After all, a number of great authors got their start in fanfiction, like Cassandra Clare! Read & Review. I'm really not kidding when I say that it really does help us writers. Also, I write original stories as well! If you guys would like to check those out, go on over to wattpad.com! I'm under there on the same username! |
