There is a difference between a flame and a critical review. It used to upset me when writers would private message me, telling me what a twit I was for having the nerve to not worship their stories. "If you don't like it, don't read it". If you can't respect the reviewers point of view, then how can you demand your point of view be validated? If you are the sort that is upset by "negative" reviews, don't write for a site that allows any reviews.

So, feel free to message me if you feel my review is too much for you to ignore. Even if it's on Christmas. I especially love it when you fill that message with as much condescending as possible. Be sure to mention you're ill as well!!
