I finally cleaned up and revised every chapter in My Dark Restless Dreams. It sounds so much better, and flows so much easier now. I'm pretty pleased at this point with how it turned out, so I think this will be my last rewrite and edit of that story. Still thinking about coming out of retirement and finishing that Final Fantasy Story everyone seems to enjoy so much. It's sad, if not for a horrible HD crash several years ago ( I lost about 5 chapters) I would probably have pounded it out by now in it's entirety. It will be an enormous work if I ever complete it. Edited and revised allot of My Dark Restless Dreams. Still working on getting new chapters for The Final Advent... I know it's been almost two years. Still hard to rewrite something after you've already written it once and lost it in a HD crash. Thanks for your reviews, they are very much appreciated.

Thanks for reading. I'm surprised and pleased with the amount of interest my FF7 fan-fic has received.

Currently I have approximately a third of it penned, that translates to alot more chapters yet to come. Right now I have posted the last of my, previously written, third of the story. Unfortunately that means we are now in 'post production season' meaning the chapters will be coming much more slowly, as I write, fret, re-write, and fret some more and finally force myself to post the next third. However as a bonus, I have actually already started working on the novels last and final chapter. Keep your comments coming they are a major motivation to help me finish this fan-fic.

Working on FF7 is like playing with the Holy Grail of RPG's. You don't want to do a diservice to it, by posting crap, on the other hand you don't want to kill the free-spirit and fun of the FF7 storyline with too much over-the-top melladrama. It's a delicate balance.

I estimate 'The Final Advent' will be a HUGE novel when it's completed.

Currently 'My Dark Restless Dreams' is the first full length and complete novel I have penned. It is the compellation of two years of constant work and effort, numerous re-writes and constant updating. I am still not completely satisfied with it. There are several glaring errors still evident within the story, as you may notice, especially in the later chapters. One or two storyline inconsistencies, a few typos, and a few sparse grammatical errors, all entirely do to last minute re-writes. I apologize for that.

Also you may have noticed that some of the names have been changed. Most noticeably the name "Laura" has been changed to "Shelly". Allow me to explain this. I originally began writing this story for a friend and changed the name of the young girl because much of this story seemed so much of an allegory for my friend's life. Unfortunately in my haste to post it, I neglected to change the name back. So again I apologize.

I also took some liberties with the character known as "Earnest" in the original Silent Hill 2 storyline. I transformed this character into the character "Michael" and changed his role in the story. I felt I needed some extra plot and some extra dialogue, this accounted for the majority of the re-writing that was done at the last minute. Some of you loyal to the purity of the original storyline may not like the alteration, but I feel it keeps with the meaning and soul of the story, and aids in explaining alot of the background.

As far as novels go, MDRD is probably the most complete and satisfying work I've done. I think I grew tremendously as a writer through the process of penning that work. I devised my own personal styles of writing and narative that I prefer. I think I began to perfect my own unique forms of description and tools of storytelling that work best for me. I look foreward to devolping and perfecting more and even better forms in the future.
