Stormy Weather — a Thor Story

OC Description(s)

Nova Ray Celestia

1. Nova is from the planet Erebus, the furthest dwarf planet in the Nyx system

2. She has long white hair

3. As a child, however, her hair was styled in a choppy pixie cut; it only grew out as she got older

4. She has dark olive skin with large pale blue eyes

5. Her fingernails are very sharp, having the same ability to cut/slice like claws

6. As a child, she stood at around 4 ft. 11 inches; as an adult, she stood at about 5 ft. 7 inches

7. Because Erebus is the furthest planet from her system's white dwarf star, the people who live on Erebus don't get a lot of natural light

8. Nova's people — including herself — learned to adapt in near total darkness

9. Her eyes allow her to see in the dark

OC Abilities

Nova Ray Celestia

1. Nova has the ability to manipulate pure darkness and shadows (umbrakinesis)

2. And because Erebus is a planet that's practically always dark, her umbrakinesis (shadow/darkness manipulation) is stronger

3. As a child, one of the things Nova could do with her shadow abilities was camouflage herself in darkness; part of her ability to see in the dark comes from her umbrakinesis; create semi-solidified shadow weapons; and absorb light, but since Erebus doesn't have much light, that's not a problem

4. Nova can also manipulate psionic energy, an ability she has very little control over, but that's only when she's a child that she has issues controlling it, and as a result, rarely ever uses it

5. When she uses her psionic energy, both as a child and as an adult, the energy itself has a dark grey coloration

6. Nova's energy manipulation allows her to project energy blasts, streams, waves, and bolts of psionic and telekinetic energy

7. When these blasts, bolts, etc. of psionic and telekinetic energy hit their target(s), it allows Nova the ability to pull/push and/or knock them away with damaging force

8. It's not until she's older that Nova realizes some of the "subcategories" that come with psionic energy manipulation

9. Naturally, she has telekinesis, the ability to create psionic force fields, telepathy, and empathic abilities

10. Nova doesn't gain full control over her psionic abilities until she's in her adult years

11. Also, all superpowers aside, Nova's people, when compared to humans, have superhuman agility, strength, etc. just naturally

OC Weaknesses

1. Nova is an organic being, so most of her body is made up of flesh/tissue/muscle/etc.

2. She also has internal organs, like most organic creatures do

3. Which means if she's stabbed, shot, hit with enough force, etc., she can be seriously injured or even die

4. While her abilities can help protect her from bodily harm, they're not always 100% effective

5. Maybe she's distracted, maybe she didn't think to cover certain areas, etc. and she ended up getting seriously injured or even fatally wounded

6. Basically what I'm saying is Nova isn't immortal, she can get hurt, she can die, and I don't want anyone to think just cause she has all these powers means she's immune to physical harm

7. So yeah, she's as vulnerable as the next organic creature in certain situations

8. Pretty much every single one of Nova's people are vulnerable to any kind of physical harm, they're not immortal or anything, either

9. In fact, every single living being in the Nyx system are mortal! That's it, no one's more special than the other when it comes to life and death and crap like that

OC Fact(s)

1. Nova's family is part of the Celestia tribe, one of the four tribes on Erebus

2. The Celestia tribe are known for having white hair and pale blue eyes

3. Very few members of the Celestia tribe can control shadows/darkness

4. Nova's the first in her family to have the ability

5. The rest of her powers will be explained in the story

6. Nova's family is part of the Celestia's branch family, so they basically live to serve the main family

7. The branch family also does nearly all of the manual labor in order to bring goods to the main family

8. Erebus is facing difficulties in terms of resources — food in particular — and being able to feed all the people currently residing

9. So it's kind of like an in-between of overpopulation and just not enough natural resources to make Erebus a self sustaining planet for other living organisms

10. The lack of natural light is the main reason why resources are such an issue

11. The people in Nova's family are her father, her twin sister, and her mother

Tiny Dancer — an Ouran High School Host Club story

OC Description

Tallulah Salvatore

1. She's half-Japanese and half-Italian

2. She's Japanese on her mother's side and Italian on her father's side

3. Her father has been divorced once before, so his marriage to Tallulah's mother would be his second

4. She has three older half-brothers from her father's first marriage

5. They're all very close

6. She's fluent in Italian, Japanese, and English

7. She knows a little Latin, too

8. Grew up mostly in Venice, Italy, but moved to Japan in her teenage years

9. One of her biggest dreams is to become a professional dancer

10. Particularly a professional ballerina

11. She's done ballet lessons ever since she was a little girl

12. Hoping to go to a prestigious dance/art college in order to further her passion

OC Appearance(s)

Tallulah Salvatore

1. She has chestnut brown hair and brown eyes

2. From years of dancing — ballet — she is slender

3. Her hair ends a little above her hips

4. She has an olive skin tone

5. I guess she'd be like 5 ft. 4 inches if you wanted an official height

Additional Information

Tallulah Salvatore

1. She is the youngest child to her Italian father, if you want to count her half-brothers

2. But, in terms of her parents' marriage, she's their "only child"

3. If that makes sense? Let me know if it doesn't

4. Since her father has three boys from a previous relationship, Tallulah is not set to inherit her father's business

5. Since she's her mother's only child, that means Tallulah will have to inherit her maternal family's business

6. She wants to be a professional ballerina, but how can she do that if she's running the family business?

7. A little conflict to make the story interesting, I guess

8. Oh, and Tallulah is 16 in this story
