Hello all! Boatly here! My "alter ego" is Gondolier (http://www.fanfiction.net/~gondolier) --some of you may know me as a Phantom of the Opera writer, on the Twilighted forums, or have seen me review under that pen name. Boatly is for Twilight play :)

Update--I've kissed the corporate world goodbye. Marketing PR is too cutthroat for my taste--my soul is a high price to pay for the power and glory that comes with a business suit. ;). So I've taken the leap and am now a freelance fiction and nonfiction writer, with a charming corner "office" at the nearest Caribou Coffee. Oh happy day!

I picked up the textbooks again in 2006 and will receive my Creative Writing MA in the spring 2009, hurrah! Thesis time!

I have so thoroughly loved fanfiction writer's work, and think that much of the stigma that comes with fanfic writing is bogus. There are some darn good fanfic writers out there (and many professional authors who write it for fun/practice, biiiig secret). Just a matter of finding the gems. If you come across a gem, please don't hesitate to mention it to me. I'd love to take a peek!
