People are literally dropping dead with no signs on what is causing it. Dean is trying to distract himself from the Mark and Sam is being forced to stay home due to a nasty cold. (Takes place after "The Hunter Games" 10x10).

And of course, with his luck, nothing's ever easy. Dean soon finds that there's something a bit more sinister than just amnesia lurking below the surface.

AU to 4x16 "On the Head of a Pin". When Alastair breaks free, he captures Dean and takes him to places unknown, leaving Sam to team up with Castiel in order to find him before it's too late. In 1675, thirteen people sat down to dinner. The host was the first to rise – to start a quarrel – and the first to die – mysteriously, with nobody having touched him. Now, using a series of seemingly unconnected clues and accounts from various witnesses, none of whom is being fully honest, Sam and Dean need to piece together a centuries-old mystery. Set in Season 2.

Dean is having a hard time coming to terms with his time in Hell, and while on a Vamp case in NC Sam, Bobby and Cas try to help. Dean seems to be refusing everyone's help.

After dealing with Metatron and the Mark of Cain, the boys face a new problem: vampires. The Alpha is attempting to rebuild his empire, and he has his sights set on one who was once his. But Dean isn't about to go down easy, and he's got more help than even he realizes. Still, it may not be enough to save him and everyone he cares about. AU of season 9 finale. COMPLETE!

Zombies. They show up, interrupt a hunt, bite Dean, and run off into the woods. How rude. Now Dean's infected, Sam's freaking out, and on top of everything else the two brothers have to stop the walking dead from dining on the civilians. Brains, anyone?
