I'm a forty-something married, mother of two. I'm a stay-at-home mom, which with both kids being in school all day, gives me way too much time to read fan-fiction!

I used to be a vampire fan in my younger days, so when I saw that cute boy in the "Twilight" movie trailer, I was intrigued. I borrowed the book from the library, and read it in three days. When my need for "more" grew to be too much, after I had devoured the other books in the series, I discovered fan-fiction; and thus another obsession was born.

I fell for Edward Cullen because of the way he cherishes his Bella. She becomes the most important thing in his world. The fact that he has never been interested in anyone before, during all of his long years, shows how very precious she is to him. I could do without the self-loathing and him trying to make decisions for her, of canon Edward, but overall I find his lovesick ways endearing.

I've always been an old soul and avid reader. Being involved with the "Twilight" fandom has introduced me to many interesting and wonderful people, as well as opening me up to new and exciting things; most importantly it's taught me to "always be yourself, because the people that matter don't mind, and the ones that mind don't matter", and for that I'll always be thankful.
