![]() Author has written 13 stories for Teen Titans, K-ON!/けいおん!, Naruto, Samurai Jack, Steven Universe, and Danny Phantom. Main Hobbies include reading fanfiction and manga, playing video games, visiting deviantart.com (username Monte-chan), and checking out youtube.com (user name Montesama314). I am also a big fan of anime, such as Naruto, K-ON!, Soul Eater, Kill la Kill, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Favorite shows with favorite characters: Avatar: The Last Airbender -- Toph, Sokka, and Zuko Teen Titans -- Beast Boy and Raven Danny Phantom -- Danny, Danielle (Dani), and Tucker Soul Eater (anime and manga) -- Soul, Black Star, Tsubaki, and Death the Kid Naruto (anime and manga) -- Shikamaru, Temari, and Hinata. I also believe that the Fourth Hokage rules, no matter who wears the Hokage jacket and hat. K-ON! (anime and manga) -- Ritsu Tainaka, Mio Akiyama, and Tsumugi ("Mugi") Kotobuki. Just the first season of the show, though. The second dragged on too long. Hmm... maybe it needed more Mugi Goggles? Batman Beyond -- Terry McGinnis, Bruce Wayne (who doesn't love the old man?), and the underrated Maxine Gibson (part-Alfred, part-Robin, all hotness). I read fanfiction from all of these cartoons/anime, animation being the only thing I really watch now. Just about everything from the DC Animated Universe has caught my eye, but I like Batman: the Animated Series, Batman Beyond, and Justice League/Justice League Unlimited most of all. Young Justice, while not part of the DCAU, is a remarkably good show for one cut short. I am also partial to the CG animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Ahsoka Tano really grew on me, probably because she also grew as a character. (I still hate Lux Bonteri, though--that little relationship he and Ahsoka had almost got her killed thanks to his ridiculous revenge scheme!) Preferred Pairings from each of these shows: Katara x Aang (Kataang), Katara x Zuko (Zutara), and Toph x Sokka (Tokka) from Avatar: The Last Airbender Beast Boy x Raven (BBRae) and Robin x Starfire (RobStar) from Teen Titans Danny x Sam from Danny Phantom Soul x Maka and Black Star x Tsubaki from Soul Eater Naruto x Hinata (NaruHina) and Shikamaru x Temari (ShikaTema) from Naruto. As for K-On!, there may not be any canon ship between them or between anyone else, but I do love the close bond between Ritsu and Mio; it's both adorable and hilarious. Batman Beyond -- Terry x Dana's fine, but Terry x Maxine could have been something interesting, I think. My Avatar is a close-up picture of the three main characters and their weapons from Soul Eater, counterclockwise from left: Death the Kid, Maka, and Black Star. My Fanfiction: Teen Titans "You Idiot...": My debut as a writer instead of just a commenter is a Teen Titans fic with Raven as the central character. Kinda BBxRae (you'll see by the end), RobxStar implied. Set after the movie "Trouble in Tokyo", so you know it uses the TV show canon. I've included some interesting pieces from the show as part of flashbacks. Now complete, edited, and including an alternate ending for my fans out there. "You Idiot... Extra": I've also created a place for any epilogue or side-story. I may put more ideas there as they come along, but the story will always be labeled complete. Your Story Alert tells you about those new chapters, anyway, right? "Another Time and Place": This Teen Titans story, features alternate universes and timelines for our favorite fivesome of heroes. What if they were villains instead of heroes? What if they were just high school students? What if Robin really did join Slade? What if I had done any of them as scenarios? Why don't you see each universe for yourself? "The Titans of Tomorrow": A series of adventures set 25 years after the original Teen Titans series ends. Much like "Another Time and Place," it's a look into a different sort of Titans team--the original roster's successors. Loosely inspired by one of my favorite graphic novels from the DC universe (it rhymes with "Wingdom Come"), you'll find some descendants, some romance, and even a few surprises! K-ON! "Howl!": When Ritsu accidentally reveals a very special belated birthday present, things between her and Mio get a little... hairy. It's not as creepy as it sounds... or is it? "Hunters!": Another K-ON! story with a supernatural twist. In a world where man and youkai can meet with horrible results, a seemingly innocuous "Light Music Club" reveals itself to be something much more. Just wait until you see why Azuza is still called "Azu-nyan"... Also featuring a tragic bonus chapter. "Punching Bag!": A short genderbend AU oneshot, where Mio gets into some trouble. Naruto "A Talk": A twist on a conversation during the Five Kage Summit, if Gaara and/or Sasuke were girls instead of boys. "On His Back": A companion piece to "A Talk," recreating Kazekage Gaara's rescue from Akatsuki. Samurai Jack "Stay": A oneshot set after Episode XCV (that's the one with Jack, Ashi, and the giant monster). After a year or so as partners and friends, Jack and Ashi have a talk. "Hello Again": Another oneshot. Centuries after the end of Samurai Jack, a lonely young woman meets a strange wanderer... Steven Universe "See You Again": Set after the episode "Lars' Head," Steven returns from Gem Homeworld and tells Sadie the good and bad news. She has one question: "Can I see him?" Danny Phantom "Not All Bad": Set after the episode "D-Stabilized," Danny's relationship with his longtime enemy Ember McLain goes in a new direction with the return of his clone Danielle. As Danny reconsiders his bonds with both ghost girls, Team Phantom soon becomes a Phantom family. (No DannyxEmber shipping... maybe.) In case the next part of any story is not here, you can probably find it on deviantart.com under the username Monte-chan, just like my user name here. Lastly, a fascinating quote from a fascinating series: "There’s no such thing as a painless lesson. They just don’t exist. Sacrifices are necessary. You can’t gain anything without losing something first. Although, if you can endure that pain and walk away from it, you’ll find that you now have a heart strong enough to overcome any obstacle. Yeah... a heart made fullmetal." -Edward Elric's last words, from the anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. |
