LATEST UPDATE (6-26-12): I am working on the fic right now. The new chapter is coming along very slowly, but I've been working on the chapter and revamps and planning and little extras more than anything. Thanks for the patience if anyone's been keeping up with this.

Also, I recently got an AO3 account, so once I get all the revamps done and the new chapter, I'll be posting there as well if you prefer that site, so stay tuned as always.

I'm working on chapter revamps and new material but there are just too many other things that demand my time right now.

I hate to keep doing this, but I don't have interest in the fic right now. That sounds terrible, but I'm sure I'll fall back into it again, I just don't want to force it. I can't really write anything right now because of lack of time and lack of ideas. I don't have enough to invest in the story right now and I try not to write anything too god-awful (though my level of crappiness is certainly debatable), so I'm not just going to throw together a chapter to say I have a new chapter. That's lame. I don't want to be lame. I want to be awesome. I want to give you readable things.

That's also why I'm reworking earlier chapters. The writing throughout the fic is poor and inconsistent and the characterization and progression is shallow at best. I grew a lot while this fic was happening and I actually learned what a comma is, so I'll be damned if that goes to waste (seriously, the punctuation makes my face turn red and I cringe and vomit Oxford commas until my guts are gone when I read some of the chapters). If you think that redoing chapters is a waste of time, then ignore them and pretend that I'm using that time to write the new chapter. To be quite honest, redoing can bring me out of a writer's block and we need that right now.

Sorry that was so ranty. I'll try to be more concise in the future. Anyway...

Thanks for sticking with me this far. Hang in there, I'll make things happen. Read other lovely things in the meantime and, if you can find it in your lovely heart, please don't remove me from any favorites or alerts that you may have, because I will come back. Who knows? You might find a chapter down the line that doesn't make you gag.
