Sorry for the long wait, folks. My computer sort of crashed, and now I'm revamping chapter two. I'm trying to make it longer, and between school, homework, and general issues surrounding the awkward teenage years, I haven't got much time to write. I don't know EXACTLY how long it will take, but it may be a while, and I'd like to thank everyone for their patience.

In gratitude for said patience, I'll release the synopsis I've got (roughly) planned out on what direction the story will head in. It won't all be in chapter two, or maybe it won't even be added in for a while (or at all), but the thoughts are still out there. Plot advances may include:

-Naruto working at a part time job (for who, and doing what, I haven't decided. Hint: Jiraiya MAY play a part in it.)

-Shikamaru returns from Sunagakure, with Ino AND Temari in tow. A side story could potentially come of it. Hell, the more I think about it, the more I see the sort of potential it has as a spin-off fanfic. Of course, the third variable is that nothing comes of it, and Shikamaru ends the event within a couple chapters. (IN PROGRESS)

-Hinata might play a more permanent major role in the story than my base plans (IN PROGRESS)

-Yondaime might get a much larger role in the story, and his character may be expanded on in later chapters.

- The story, in certain ways, may twist toward events recognizable from the manga. Which events, I'll keep to myself ( Hint: It may involve Sasuke, Naruto, or Shikamaru. Only time will tell).

-I might update faster (Already ironing out chapter five)

-I may, and this isn't mere speculation either, start planning out story direction, before writing. At the present time, I usually sit down, when the inspiration strikes, and write up a short story.
