4-21-14: Greetings! If you follow me at all, you will note that I am continuing on my streak of sporadic and infrequent story updates. However, I still do continue to update. So that's something, right? Thanks for all of your support, dear readers. It astounds me that so many continue to read and add my story, even when the updates are severely lacking. 7-6-13: Happy Summer!! Welcome to all my new readers! I am so happy that people are still interested in this story, especially with the length of time between updates. I have just returned from an awesome trip to the UK & Ireland and am now headed off for a camping trip near home. Eventually, I will be home for a decent amount of time and will get to writing and updating once again. Thanks for all the support! Your comments and prods have really helped me to stay motivated :)

5-11-13: As I prepare to write this, I realize that it has been almost a full year since I have updated my profile. And it is crazy to think of how much has happened during that span of time. I am feeling motivated to do some writing, for the first time in a while! I just updated my story and hope to post some more over the next few weeks. 10-16-10: Hey there! I am not sure if anyone will be interested in reading this... but if you are, here's my story. I read fanfiction on this site for about 6 months before finally deciding to move beyond my lurker status. There were numerous times that I wanted to review a story, but couldn't without an account, of course. So here I am!

About Me:

First off, I am a super private person. You will not learn much about me on this profile. Parts of my life are woven into my characters, so you may learn about me in that way. Or, you can feel free to PM me if there is something you really want to know!

Reading is one of my favorite pastimes and I have become a fan of many of the authors on this site. Many thanks to them for dedicating their time and talent and for sharing their stories! They have inspired me to further pursue my own desire to write!

After reading some of these amazing works of fanfiction, I decided to be brave and try posting something of my own. This was a huge feat for me (again, because of the privacy thing). I started out with a short poem, just to see if it got any hits. After that, I caught the bug and just had to try putting a story out. I have been surprised by the response I have received and am excited every time my story gets a hit... and I have just passed the 38,000 hit mark and have over 100 reviews. That is amazing to me. I honestly just hoped that I would get at least one review. Thanks to everyone who has read/reviewed/alerted/favorited my little story. It really means a lot!

I will admit that it often takes me a while to update my work. I have a general story outline, but basically write as I go. And, since life is busy, that process is often slow going. However, I do plan to finish Healing and Restoration, and maybe even write some other things in the future. I have been continuing the story slowly over the past 4 years, and don't intend to stop now!
