I am a man of strong build, weighing about 212 pounds and standing 6 feet tall. I happen to sport a grandiose beard, approximately 3 inches thick, and a curly mustache. In manner, I am sufficiently conversible. Matters that attract my conversation and attention range from the mundane (such as the weather, personal goings-on, or a work of cinema) to the profound (religion, politics, philosophy). On the whole, I consider myself to be a jolly good fellow.

I live in an arid land of sparse vegetation and water. It's a dreary place, a dustbowl that brings no excitement or adventure. It has all the modern conveniences, (public utilities, commercial centers, internet, etc.) but nothing of the atmosphere of the modern world. To the hermit, this place would seem like a paradise. It's nothing of the sort to me! I look upon the land of my dwelling with considerable contempt and revulsion. I long to leave...
