July 1st, 2010 through 11:59 PM EST on September 2nd, 2010.

Open voting for F/F fics will run from September 3-13, 2010.
Open voting for M/M fics will run from September 14-24, 2010.

We'll be announcing the winners through our Twitter (@ItCContest) on October 1st at 11:00 PM EST,
& they'll be posted to The Fictionators & here our FFn profile on October 2nd.

Rules & Submission Guidelines:

Your submission to the contest must be emailed to
intheclosetcontest@gmail.com
between 12:01 AM EST on July 1st & 11:59 PM EST on September 2nd.

Please attach your work as a .doc or .docx when you
submit it to intheclosetcontest@gmail.com.

In the body of the email, please give us your
FFn pen name, title, pairing, word count, rating, & summary.
This is only to keep entries organized & your pen name will not
be released to the judges or posted to this account.

Entries must center around a Male/Male &/or Female/Female
pairing comprised of characters within the Twilight series.

All universes (AU, AH, etc.) are allowed.

Crossovers & original characters are not permitted.

Your entry must be between 2,000 & 15,000 words,
& it may be multi-chaptered, but it must be submitted as a complete work.

Your entry cannot include your characters just as they are portrayed in your existing works.

Multiple entries are permitted & collaborations are welcome.

Lemons are not required, but they're welcomed & appreciated.

Please have your entry beta'd prior to submitting.
Works that exhibit copious amounts of grammar
and spelling failure will be disqualified.

In the spirit of keeping things anonymous,
please keep your author's notes limited to information regarding
the contest itself or for reference purposes -- ie: citing quotes, etc.
Please do not name names.
You can thank your beta in private.

Once validated, your entry will be posted to this account.

Do not post your work anywhere else until after the winners
have been announced. If you do post it elsewhere,
you're instantly disqualified.

Rape, pedophilia, incest, or anything else overtly disgusting
is grounds for disqualification.
