Author has written 3 stories for Chuck, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, and Psych. Hey, everybody. I'm... well, you can honestly call me anything. Danny, Alex, Alec, Casey, and Orion are some common names for me these days. Some other names are Dreamer, Firefly, and Jinx. Then there are nicknames like Jayne and Ryvre. Basically, you can call me whatever you want, as long as it's not insulting. *grins* I'm just one person on a huge planet, trying to change the world one step at a time. I'm a Christian, but I try to make my stories enjoyable to all audiences. None of my stories will be rated anything over T, and if they are rated T, it's most likely for violence or mild gore. I try to keep cursing to a minimum in my story, and I try to keep all romance to a Disney film level. I know what it's like to be young and trying to find good stories to read about your favourite TV show or movie characters, but you keep coming across things your mother would be furious if she saw; or even what it's like to be an older person who tries to avoid all lewd or inappropriate stories and has trouble finding ones that they can read. My goal is to write stories that are, for the most part, readable by anyone and everyone who wants to read them, regardless of age. With that explanation out of the way, I'll tell you a little bit more about the stories you might find here! I'm a friendly, albeit a slightly shy, person. If you ever need someone to vent to, or chat to, my inbox is always open. I fall in love with all sorts of characters, but especially the misunderstood ones or the anti-heroic ones that seem emotionless and sometimes even cruel, but actually have hearts of gold. They are usually the ones who end up as my main characters. Some examples: Colonel John Casey - Chuck Etcetera. I love the misunderstood antiheroes. But if I love a show or a film, I'll enjoy writing most characters as the main ones - just expect them to be interacting a lot with my favourite characters! *grins* In that vein, here are some of my favourite shows and films that you will probably see fanfictions for on my profile at some point or another. Most of them are standalone, but I love to write crossovers when I get the inspiration! Doctor Who (favourite characters: too many to count, but top three are Rory, the Doctor, and Jack!) I have specific types of stories I love to write the most. I adore writing stories where my favourite characters are put through a world of pain, torture, nightmares, and what-not. Don't ask me why; I like making myself cry, I think. I'm strange, I know. But I also love writing fluffy stories between children and adults, or fluffy stories with people falling in love, or sweet stories where the main character confesses their love, hopes, dreams, or fears to someone. Things like that. But I do try to write a wide variety of genres. Now a bit about me, for anyone who actually cares. *half-grin* I'm a person with a big heart; I'm not bragging. It's the only quality of mine that I'm actually completely proud of. So I often see the good in people that others don't see - Rumplestiltskin is a prime example, as I saw the good in him where most people I know hated him. I can almost always see at least a glimmer of golden light in the hearts of any person I come across. I have depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, Asperger's Syndrome, and Borderline Personality Disorder (which is basically just very severe mood swings). Writing is a way I express myself. So if I'm putting up a ton of dark stories, it might mean I'm going through some really tough times. It doesn't always mean that, but it sometimes does. I adore well-written stories where the main character is put through painful trials, and I also adore stories where there is a lot of cute fluff. If you know of any such stories that feature characters from any of the shows or films I mentioned above, I would very much appreciate it if you let me know! I want to be an actor someday; I want to enjoy the camaraderie fellow actors have with one another, and get to travel to amazing locations. I want to learn how to do things that a person might never learn outside of the film industry. I want to make friends and live in a world, if only for a year, that is different from our own. I want to pour myself into portraying a person different from me and yet similar to me in many ways. I also want to be a writer, a counselor/therapist, and an animal rescuer. I pray that someday I can incorporate all four into my life. I dream of traveling, of having adventures, of changing the world and maybe even finding someone special to share it all with. I want a life like a storybook, and honestly, to me, life is what you make it. So maybe someday, when I have my own job and the ability to do so, I can go out into this crazy world and make my life a good one. And that's me! It's a pleasure to meet you, and I look forward to getting to know people here. DrinkingScotchDodgingBullets, signing off. |
