Caroline and Klaus reconnect when he shows up for Liz's funeral. He tells her now is the time to see the world, so she does. But she told him once that she wouldn't see Paris, Rome, or Tokyo without him, and he said he'd wait. And when that time comes, she offers to wait back. But just how long is too long?

Frustrated by her lack of knowledge about Klaus and his past, Caroline decides to interrogate her favorite Original hybrid in the middle of night. "What's your number?"

Caroline and Klaus wake up human in another reality due to a spell. Oh, and they're married, which is absolutely the worst, until it isn't.

It's a repeated mantra, begging forgiveness – for everything he feels, but shouldn't and for every feeling he should have, but doesn't. This story continues from the finale, and moves the story forward. Post 3x22, Outlaw Queen.

Canon through Season 4, then breaks off. After a horrible experience destroys Caroline, Stefan places a call to Klaus in the hopes that he can compel the memories from her. When Klaus arrives he finds Caroline more broken then he could have ever imagined. Can a 1,000 year old hybrid, who views love as a weakness, open up enough to try and heal the only woman he ever tried to love?

Between dealing with his siblings, his quest to become king and his impending fatherhood, Klaus has his hands full. So when his favourite distraction pays him an unexpected visit, complication is on the horizon... Sequel to 2 am. The moment we've all been waiting for. Caroline finds out about Hayley's pregnancy-but not from Klaus. Hurt and betrayed, she goes to New Orleans to demand answers from the hybrid who claims to love her but conveniently neglected to tell her about this latest development in his life. Klaroline fluff.
