For the pwkm: Kristoph and Klavier, despite the age gap, look almost identical. After Kristoph gets out on parole near Christmas, he and Klavier get into a fight that accidentally ends in Klavier's death. With his only options being to assume Klavier's identity (and fake his own death) or go back to prison indefinitely, Kristoph does the only thing he can: he becomes Klavier Gavin.
