I work at the theatres around town and am a member of the International Alliance for Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE.) Theatre is my life but reading is my passion. Favorite Books: Wow, this could take a while... Divergent by Veronica Roth currently tops the list. Four and Tris have to be my favorite book couple of all time. The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins, of course. Although I personally think Mockingjay was a bit of a disappointment. Shiver, Linger and Forever (The Wolves of Mercy Falls Series) by Maggie Steifvater... beautifully written and unique! Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick - I have to say when I finished this book, I was furious. I hated the ending until I realized there was a sequel... Crescendo was great and Silence had me on edge til the last page. Then I had the same reaction I did when I finished Hush, Hush... until I found out about Finale. Now I can't wait! The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare. Love the character of Jace. His cocky attitude is so well written. But I couldn't get into the Infernal Devices series. I also enjoyed the Twilight Saga and yes, I am Team Jacob like all the smart girls are :) (Let me explain that a little better. I think Jacob is a better character than Edward. I think Bella is a better character around Jacob but I believe honestly that Bella belongs with Edward.) Eclipse was my favorite book in the saga but I enjoy them all. I am a HUGE fan of Nicholas Sparks. I love The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, True Believer and The Guardian specifically. My Stories NOTE: I have not written anything on these stories in nearly two years as life just got in the way. As of 4/4/2012, I have a chapter ready for Misguided Ghost and an Outtake but I am starting to write again so these stories should be updated soon. These Twisted Games: This is a Hunger Games story told from Gale's POV. It's a what if story of what I image would have happened if Gale had volunteered for Peeta before the 74th Games. Misguided Ghost: This is a Twilight story told from Bella's POV. It is a New Moon AU about what would happen if Bella didn't jump off the cliff in New Moon and Alice never came back. It picks up 2 years later, a few months after Bella's 20th birthday. It is rated M for graphic violence. Misguided Ghost: The Outtakes: This is a companion piece to Misguided Ghost. It will be outtakes of different moments in time written from other characters perspectives. As I was writing Misguided Ghost, I realized that there were times I needed to know myself how the other characters were reacting to the events and how much they knew. That is what inspired the first outtake. These will be updated randomly, as I write them and they are no longer spoilers for the story. If you have a moment during Misguided Ghost that you would like to see from another perspective, please feel free to let me know. I will try to fit in as many moments as we can :) |
