Hi! This is Richelieu'sPen. My username refers to the play Richelieu; Or the Conspiracy in which one of its characters, the Cardinal Richelieu, famously states, "The pen is mightier than the sword." I know, a little cliche.

I'm brand-new to fanfiction in general. My friend is an avid reader of the genre, and while I was less than indifferent to the few paragraphs of a Supernaturals story she showed me I began to start looking at other work on this site. What I saw made me want to start writing some of my own.

This site is really a gold mine for people who want to start writing but just don't know where to, well, start. Fanfiction allows you to create a story with characters, setting, and even a little bit of the premise already fully developed. You have an enormous audience already available that (frankly) doesn't really expect Pulitzer-Prize-winning writing, and an army of reviewers who are wonderfully unafraid to say what they think. There's little hassle in publishing what you write. To sum up: it doesn't get much better than this.

That's why I've started putting my own writing on here. I hope you read it and enjoy it. If you despise it with every ounce of your soul, I would be delighted to know why! If you liked something about it, I would love to know that too.
