I'm animefangirl4life, and I'm new to fanfiction.net! In all actuallity, though, I've been reading fanfiction from the site for YEARS. I've decided to create an account so I can post reviews for all the lovely stories I've read over the years and maybe post some of my own writing.

Some info about me:

Nickname: My username is plain stupid, so you can call me something else. My name's Valerie, so Val would be cool. I also go by Star. Any other nicknames are fine- something derived from my (pathetic) username would work, too- AF, etc.

Hobbies/Interests: Reading (mostly mangas at the moment), writing (fanfiction and original works), drawing/painting, watching animes, yaoi, gymnastics, acting/singing.

Personality: I'm a total nerd, to be perfectly blunt. I like geeky things, I act both outgoing and socially awkward at the same time, and I absolutely love people! I guess I can be a little clingy and stupid sometimes, but hey, I'm self-degrading, too. I love spending time with people and generally people either love my insanity or they think I'm a pest. The latter is probably true. :)

Gender: I'm a girl, obviously (animefanGIRL4life). Though I wish I were a guy. :P

What I want to do with my life: Anything related to the arts (writing, painting, digital art, acting, etc). I also plan to stay a five-year-old in mindset until I die.

Favorite Color: Orange!! Second favorite is blue. (Man, is that the sign of a SasuNaru fan, or what?)

Favorite Foods: Mac and Cheese, Fetuccini Alfredo, any pasta dish really. I also love stirfry and other oriental noodle/rice dishes.

Favorite Book Series: (not including manga) Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Current Anime/Manga Fandoms: Naruto, Fruits Basket, Death Note, Black Butler, Junjou Romantica, Ouran Highschool Host Club, Gakuen Heaven, Princess Tutu, and some more that I've forgotten. These are the main ones.

OTP: Definitely SasuNaru.

The majority of the pairings I ship are Yaoi (I am a HUGE but closeted yaoi fangirl... I adore it, to put it mildly). I do ship occassional het pairings, and not really yuri (though I'm not predjudiced, I just haven't found a yuri pairing I like). I spend like 80% of my time on the internet reading yaoi fanfiction and doujinshis (and 80% of those are SasuNaru).

I am planning on posting some fanfiction soon... I want the first fic I post to be a SasuNaru. I am currently working on two fanfics (one is still in the planning stages and the other I'm working on a rough draft). Although I've started one, it's not really up to par with what I want it to be yet. I'm hoping to post some fanfiction before the summer is over. :) For the moment, though, I'm going to comment on and favorite all of my favorite fanfictions!
