Let's see. My name is Sue, I'm a married stay at home mom of 3 girls. I write, draw, and play MMOs in my spare time. I decided to try my hand at fanfics and here is the result. If you are reading my story, thank you and I hope you enjoy it. If you aren't, give it a shot. :)

Please review :D Tell me what you love and what you hate, ask questions, give suggestions, tell me I'm entirely too obsessed with commas. I'll agree with that last one :p. Constructive criticism is very welcome. This is my first attempt at writing for an audience so I would venture to say I'll need all the wisdom of experienced writers (or anyone else) that I am able to get.

You have no idea how exciting it is to have people read, and even better, LIKE something you have written. This story has and still is taking me a very long time to write for two reasons 1) because I don't have nearly as much alone time as I thought I did when starting this and let me tell you, writing with children around is something my brain is not capable of :P and 2) because everything is very tightly woven together and I have to get it just right for it to work. Researching dates and facts has taken up a lot of time, thank goodness I like to do that sort of thing. :) When all is said and done, hopefully you will all think it was worth it. I know I will. I'm eager to get it all written and posted but I refuse to post inferior work just to get it up and read.

Taken by Storm is inspired by the following excerpt from Stephenie Meyers' unfinished rough draft of "Midnight Sun", her rendition of book 1 through Edward's POV. If you haven't read it I highly suggest you do, even if you aren't reading my story. It makes you feel the "animalistic" nature of the vampires and helps you understand Edwards actions and thoughts so much better. You can read it on www.stepheniemeyer.com.

Edward: For one moment, the hag-faced fate I’d imagined, the one who sought Bella’s destruction, was replaced by the most foolish and reckless of angels. A guardian angel-something Carlisle’s version of me might have had. With a heedless smile on her lips, her sky-colored eyes filled with mischief, the angel formed Bella in such a fashion that there was no way that I could possibly overlook her. A ridiculously potent scent to demand my attention, a silent mind to inflame my curiosity, a quiet beauty to hold my eyes, a selfless soul to earn my awe. Leave out the natural sense of self-preservation~ so that Bella could bear to be near me~ and, finally, add a wide streak of appallingly bad luck. With a careless laugh, the irresponsible angel propelled her fragile creation directly into my path, trusting blithely in my flawed morality to keep Bella alive.

What if this was the only way they would ever find each other and yet they were meant to be together? What would you willingly do to be with your true soul mate?

This story may have violence in it although I'm not sure how many actual violent scenes it will have, mostly "second hand" or just the aftermath.

FYI- I do not write lemons.
