Well, I get obsessed with TV shows really easily (at the moment Doctor Who) and it anoys me a lot because I keep thinking how the companion has to be funny and that stuff and how they should have something to do with what's gonna happen in the end like Rose and being the Bad Wolf or Donna being a 'Metacrisis' and I just don't like it when I start critizising about all the characters in Doctor Who and how the actors should portray them professionally like Donna or Rose did and I hate how I just say things like this about the actors when there's nothing wrong with them.

Buff... sorry about that. I just get all excited and freakish about Doctor Who every time I even think of the name.

If no one read of this books, I really recommend you to read Beautiful Chaos, it was my first Doctor Who book and it's my favorite one from all of them.

[The Doctor takes away and deactivates the Leader's energy whip, then grabs the Leader's staff and snaps it in two.]

The Doctor: You just can't get the staff. [points at him] Now you! Just wait. I'm busy! [Aside] Mickey, hello! And Harriet Jones, MP for Flydale North! Blimey, it's like This is your Life! [to Rose] Tea! That's all I needed! Good cup of tea! Super-heated infusion of free-radicals and tannins, just the thing for healing the synapses. Now, first things first. Be honest. How do I look?

Rose: Umm... different.

The Doctor: Good different or bad different?

Rose: Just... different.

The Doctor: Am I... ginger?

Rose: No, you're just sort of... brown.

The Doctor: [disappointed] Aw, I wanted to be ginger! I've never been ginger! And you, Rose Tyler! Fat lot of good you were! You gave up on me! [Rose looks annoyed] Ooh, that's rude. Is that the sort of man I am now? Am I rude? Rude and not ginger.'

--'No second chances. I'm that sort of a man.'

--'I don't age. I regenerate. But humans decay; you wither and you die. Imagine watching that happen to someone that you—'

Donna: Oh this is brilliant!

The Doctor: But... what the hell are you doing there???

The Doctor: But, but but, why, what, where, when?

Donna: You! I was looking for you!

The Doctor: What for?!

Donna: [miming in a surreal sense while the Doctor looks more and more confused] I, came here, trouble, read about it, internet, I thought, trouble = you! And this place is weird! Pills! So I hid. Back there. Crept along. Heard this lot. Looked. You! Cos they—

[On "they", gestures and looks toward Miss Foster, who is staring at her. As are the guards. Penny too.]

Donna: [freezes] Oops.

Miss Foster: [out loud] Are we interrupting you?

The Doctor: [mouthing] Run!'

--Colonel Mace: Latest firing stock. What do you think, Doctor?

Doctor: [wearing a gas mask] Are you my mummy?

Colonel Mace: [annoyed] If you could concentrate...

--Donna: [about the Doctor] He saves planets, rescues civilizations, defeats terrible creatures... and runs a lot. Seriously, there is an outrageous amount of running involved.

--'You need to get yourself a better dictionary. When you do, look up "genocide". You'll find a little picture of me there, and the caption'll read "Over my dead body".'

--'After all this time... after everything we saw, after everything we lost... I have only one thing to say to you... bye!'

--'Donna. Oh, Donna Noble. I am so, so sorry. But we had the best of times. The best.'

--Doctor: I just want you to know, there are worlds out there, safe in the sky because of her. That there are people living in the light, and singing songs of Donna Noble. A thousand, million light years away. They will never forget her, while she can never remember. Adelaide: [disgusted] This is wrong, Doctor! I don't care who you are: the Time Lord Victorious is wrong!

The Doctor: [arrogantly] That's for me to decide.

--Wilf: Look, just leave me.

The Doctor: [angrily] OK, right, then, I will. Because you just had to go in there, didn't you? You had to go and get stuck, oh yes! Because that's who you are, Wilfred! You were always this. Waiting for me all this time!

Wilf: Oh, really, just leave me. I'm an old man, Doctor, I've had my time.

The Doctor: [still angry] Well, exactly, look at you. Not remotely important. But me... I could do so much more! So much more! But this is what I get, my reward. And it's not fair! [resigned to his fate] Oh... lived too long. [Wilf pleads with him to reconsider sacrificing himself] Wilfred. It's my honour. [Enters the booth] Better be quick: three, two, one...

There's one thing I always wanted to ask Jack. Back in the old days. I wanted to know about that Doctor of his. The man who appears out of nowhere and saves the world; except sometimes he doesn't. All those times in history where there was no sign of him.. I wanted to know why not. But I don't need to ask anymore.
