Or so I wish. Well, I get obsessed with TV shows really easily (at the moment Doctor Who) and it anoys me a lot because I keep thinking how the companion has to be funny and that stuff and how they should have something to do with what's gonna happen in the end like Rose and being the Bad Wolf or Donna being a 'Metacrisis' and I just don't like it when I start critizising about all the characters in Doctor Who and how the actors should portray them professionally like Donna or Rose did and I hate how I just say things like this about the actors when there's nothing wrong with them. Buff... sorry about that. I just get all excited and freakish about Doctor Who every time I even think of the name. Well I'll start again: Name: andrewkidd Years: unknown years old, I wouldn't tell anyone at all Sex: Female, what am I a man? Living in... the Blue Blood world I am currently... The Cosby Show (the funniest 80's show in the world!), Torchwood and Glee!! (even though I haven't watched it... But I heard the songs!) Hobbies: Draw, write stories whenever I want to, singing along the songs and stuff Books: DOCTOR WHO BOOKS!!! Ninth Doctor The Monsters Inside The Deviant Strain Tenth Doctor with Rose Tyler The Resurrection Casket The Art of Destruction Tenth Doctor with Martha Jones The Last Dodo Wooden Heart Wishing Well The Story of Martha Tenth Doctor with Donna Noble The Doctor Trap Shining Darkness Beautiful Chaos Just the Tenth Doctor The Eyeless Prisoner of the Daleks The Taking of Chelsea 426 The Krillitane Storm If no one read of this books, I really recommend you to read Beautiful Chaos, it was my first Doctor Who book and it's my favorite one from all of them. Quotes: Ninth Doctor --'Fantastic!' --'Do you know like we were sayin'? About the Earth revolving? [walks towards Rose] It's like when you're a kid. The first time they tell you that the world's turning and you just can't quite believe it 'cause everything looks like it's standin' still. [looks at Rose] I can feel it. [takes Rose's hand] The turn of the Earth. The ground beneath our feet is spinnin' at 1,000 miles an hour and the entire planet is hurtling around the sun at 67,000 miles an hour, and I can feel it. We're fallin' through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go... [lets go of Rose's hand] That's who I am.' --'You lot. You spend all your time thinking about dying, like you're going to get killed by eggs, or beef, or global warming, or asteroids. But you never take time to imagine the impossible: that maybe you survive.' --'I'm a Time Lord. I'm the last of the Time Lords. They're all gone. I'm the only survivor. I'm left travelling on my own, 'cause there's no one else.' --'[as a hologram] This is Emergency Programme One. Rose, now listen; this is important. If this message is activated, then it can only mean one thing. We must be in danger, and I mean fatal. I'm dead, or about to die any second with no chance of escape. And that's okay. Hope it's a good death. But I promised to look after you, and that's what I'm doing. The TARDIS is taking you home. [Rose protests] And I bet you're fussing and moaning now- typical! But hold on and just listen a bit more. The TARDIS can never return for me. Emergency Programme One means I'm facing an enemy that should never get their hands on this machine. So this is what you should do: let the TARDIS die. Just let this old box gather dust. No one can open it; no one will even notice it. Let it become a strange little thing standing on a street corner. And over the years, the world will move on and the box will be buried. And if you wanna remember me, then you can do one thing, that's all, one thing. [turns to Rose, his voice no longer sounding projected] Have a good life. Do that for me, Rose. Have a fantastic life.' --'Rose... before I go, I just want to tell you: you were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And do you know what? [Pause] So was I!' Tenth Doctor --'The Doctor: Oi, you could have someone's eye out with that! [The Doctor takes away and deactivates the Leader's energy whip, then grabs the Leader's staff and snaps it in two.] The Doctor: You just can't get the staff. [points at him] Now you! Just wait. I'm busy! [Aside] Mickey, hello! And Harriet Jones, MP for Flydale North! Blimey, it's like This is your Life! [to Rose] Tea! That's all I needed! Good cup of tea! Super-heated infusion of free-radicals and tannins, just the thing for healing the synapses. Now, first things first. Be honest. How do I look? Rose: Umm... different. The Doctor: Good different or bad different? Rose: Just... different. The Doctor: Am I... ginger? Rose: No, you're just sort of... brown. The Doctor: [disappointed] Aw, I wanted to be ginger! I've never been ginger! And you, Rose Tyler! Fat lot of good you were! You gave up on me! [Rose looks annoyed] Ooh, that's rude. Is that the sort of man I am now? Am I rude? Rude and not ginger.' --'No second chances. I'm that sort of a man.' --'I don't age. I regenerate. But humans decay; you wither and you die. Imagine watching that happen to someone that you—' Rose: What, Doctor? 'You can spend the rest of your life with me, but I can't spend the rest of mine with you. I have to live on. Alone. That's the curse of the Time Lords.' --'It's never too late, as a wise person once said; Kylie, I think' --'I've seen fake gods and bad gods and demi gods and would-be gods; out of all that, out of that whole pantheon, if I believe in one thing... just one thing... I believe in her.' --'I like that, "Allons-y". I should say allons-y more often. Look sharp, Rose Tyler, allons-y! And then it would be really brilliant if I met someone called Alonso, 'cause then I could say allons-y Alonso every time...' --'I'm finding my own way, I usually do' --'There was a war. A Time War. The Last Great Time War. My people fought a race called the Daleks, for the sake of all creation. And they lost. We lost. Everyone lost. They're all gone now. My family. My friends. Even that sky. [reminiscent] Oh, you should have seen it! That old planet... The second sun would rise in the south, and the mountains would shine. The leaves on the trees were silver, when they caught the light, every morning it looked like a forest on fire. When the autumn came, a brilliant glow though the branches...' --'I'm old enough to know that a longer life isn't always a better one. In the end, you just get tired; tired of the struggle, tired of losing everyone that matters to you, tired of watching everything you love turn to dust. If you live long enough, Lazarus, the only certainty left is that you'll end up alone.' --'Mankind doesn't need warfare and bloodshed to prove itself. Everyday life can provide honour and valour. Let's hope that from now on this country can find its heroes in smaller places. In the most ordinary of deeds.' --'And that's it, I'm afraid, there's no more from you on the transcript, that's the last I've got. I don't know what stopped you talking, but I can guess: they're coming; the Angels are coming for you, but listen—your life could depend on this—don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast, faster than you could believe. Don't turn your back, don't look away, and don't blink. Good luck.' --'Well, perfect to look at, maybe. And it was, it was beautiful. They used to call it the Shining World of the Seven Systems. And on the continent of Wild Endeavour, in the mountains of Solace and Solitude, there stood the Citadel of the Time Lords. The oldest and most mighty race in the universe. Looking down on the galaxies below, sworn never to interfere, only to watch. Children of Gallifrey were taken from their families at the age of eight, to enter the Academy. Some say that's where it all began, when he was a child. That's when the Master saw eternity. As a novice, he was taken for initiation. He stood in front of the Untempered Schism. It's a gap in the fabric of reality through which could be seen the whole of the vortex. We stand there, eight years old, staring at the raw power of Time and Space, just a child. Some would be inspired. Some would run away. And some would go mad. [beat.] Oh, I dunno.' --'Oh! I know what it's like. It's like when you fancy someone and they don't even know you exist. That's what it's like.' --'I'm the Doctor. I'm a Time Lord. I'm from the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborous. I'm 903 years old, and I'm the man who's gonna save your lives and all six billion people on the planet below. You got a problem with that?' --'The Doctor: [mouthing from behind soundproof glass] Donna??? Donna: [also mouthing] Doctor!!!! The Doctor: But... what? Wha... WHAT??!? Donna: Oh! My! God! The Doctor: But... how? Donna: [pointing at self] It's me! The Doctor: Well, I can see that! Donna: Oh this is brilliant! The Doctor: But... what the hell are you doing there??? [Donna's just so thrilled, she waves! Big smile!] The Doctor: But, but but, why, what, where, when? Donna: You! I was looking for you! The Doctor: What for?! Donna: [miming in a surreal sense while the Doctor looks more and more confused] I, came here, trouble, read about it, internet, I thought, trouble = you! And this place is weird! Pills! So I hid. Back there. Crept along. Heard this lot. Looked. You! Cos they— [On "they", gestures and looks toward Miss Foster, who is staring at her. As are the guards. Penny too.] Donna: [freezes] Oops. Miss Foster: [out loud] Are we interrupting you? The Doctor: [mouthing] Run!' --Colonel Mace: Latest firing stock. What do you think, Doctor? Doctor: [wearing a gas mask] Are you my mummy? Colonel Mace: [annoyed] If you could concentrate... --Donna: [about the Doctor] He saves planets, rescues civilizations, defeats terrible creatures... and runs a lot. Seriously, there is an outrageous amount of running involved. --'You need to get yourself a better dictionary. When you do, look up "genocide". You'll find a little picture of me there, and the caption'll read "Over my dead body".' --'After all this time... after everything we saw, after everything we lost... I have only one thing to say to you... bye!' --'Donna. Oh, Donna Noble. I am so, so sorry. But we had the best of times. The best.' --Doctor: I just want you to know, there are worlds out there, safe in the sky because of her. That there are people living in the light, and singing songs of Donna Noble. A thousand, million light years away. They will never forget her, while she can never remember. [visibly upset] But for one moment... one shining moment... she was the most important woman in the whole wide universe. Sylvia: She still is. [insistently] She's my daughter! Doctor: Well, perhaps you should tell her that once in a while. --The Doctor: [cold and triumphant] For a long time now, I thought I was just a survivor, but I'm not. I'm the winner! That's who I am: the Time Lord Victorious! Adelaide: And there's no one to stop you... The Doctor: No! Adelaide: [disgusted] This is wrong, Doctor! I don't care who you are: the Time Lord Victorious is wrong! The Doctor: [arrogantly] That's for me to decide. --Wilf: Look, just leave me. The Doctor: [angrily] OK, right, then, I will. Because you just had to go in there, didn't you? You had to go and get stuck, oh yes! Because that's who you are, Wilfred! You were always this. Waiting for me all this time! Wilf: Oh, really, just leave me. I'm an old man, Doctor, I've had my time. The Doctor: [still angry] Well, exactly, look at you. Not remotely important. But me... I could do so much more! So much more! But this is what I get, my reward. And it's not fair! [resigned to his fate] Oh... lived too long. [Wilf pleads with him to reconsider sacrificing himself] Wilfred. It's my honour. [Enters the booth] Better be quick: three, two, one... Torchwood: Children of Earth: Day 5 - Gwen Quote There's one thing I always wanted to ask Jack. Back in the old days. I wanted to know about that Doctor of his. The man who appears out of nowhere and saves the world; except sometimes he doesn't. All those times in history where there was no sign of him.. I wanted to know why not. But I don't need to ask anymore. I know the answer now: Sometimes the Doctor must look at this planet and turn away in shame. I'm recording this in case anyone ever finds it, so you can see. You can see how the world ended.
