Hello! KatzchenHexe here! First of all, let's clear up the meaning of my pen name, before I get any more questions. Katzchen (pronounced "ketz-kin) is the German word for "kitten" and Hexe (pronouced Hex-eh) means witch. This makes me "Kitten Witch."

My favorite series are Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Starwars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Redwall, Castaways of the Flying Dutchman, Brother Cadfael, and Indiana Jones (accept Crystal Skull. Don’t get me started on that one). As far as music goes, I like most classic rock, especially Rush, Pat Benatar, Black Sabbath, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and Skid Row. I am a major fan of webcomics, my favorite being The Dreamer, followed up by the Phoenix Requiem, Lackadaisy Cats, Head Trip, Xylia, Dovecote Crest, and Directions of Destiny. I also have quite the passion for the works of Shakespeare. Comedy, tragedy, you name it!

Stories

Anything Goes: Maybe- A modern AU Hamlet fic, based on and parodying “conspiracy theories” that swarm this play like slugs on Jack-o-lanterns. Still being worked on, but on a slight hold due to writer’s block. Not sure how many chapters it’s going to be.

How to Loose Friends and Alienate People (upcoming)- Modern retelling of Much Ado about Nothing, re-imagining Beatrice as struggling stage actress, Benedick and Co. as Darfur relief workers, Dogberry and Verges as nosy neighbors, and Messinia as an apartment complex in Tampa Florida. Hoping to update once weekly, probably 15-20 chapters when finished.

The Rain it Raineth Every Day (upcoming)- Collaboration with Returning in Red and probably to be published on her account (you can find her in my favorite authors). An Alice in Wonderland story following Alice’s return to Underland, a new threat to the Kingdom from a very angry Princess out for revenge, and Underland’s place in the larger world it is part of.
