They have been each other's number one support system for about a year and a half. Only they've never met. Or seen a picture of one another. They don't even know each other's names. Hopper returns to the Byers house with an exhausted El after closing the gate. A bit of Mileven and Hopper being a dad.

Mike leaves for college, and El stays in Hawkins. The long-distance thing works out, for a time, until a positive pregnancy test turns their world upside down. They'll figure it out, because that's what they always do. How hard can parenting be, really? Turns out, pretty damn hard.
