The Merchant of Death. It was a name Tony Stark had recently heard. One he'd jokingly said wasn't that bad before picking up a reporter. That was before he'd watched good men die and taken Stark weapon shrapnel to the chest. Until he was fighting for his life and struggling for air. Putting his genius towards a new project and a new purpose. All he had needed was a box of scraps.

"Do you really think we'd be good together?" Stiles says, out of nowhere, eyes faintly narrowed, nose scrunched."Like, honestly? Because everyone goes on and on about it, and I think-" "Does this look like a good time to be thinking about that?" "Well, excuse me. Let's talk about this the next time we get together for tea and cookies, shall we?"

"D'you know what feels amazing when you're sick?" He exclaims, taking Derek's empty soup bowl from his shaky grip. "A bullet through the brain?" "What? No. What the fuck, Derek. Way to be drastic." He rolls his eyes at him, putting the bowl on his bedside table. "A sponge bath. I was going to say a sponge bath."

Which he thinks, upon arriving to Derek's house (Lydia already gone with the wind) and taking a look at the situation, is a bit of an understatement and a clear underestimation of the situation. The first time Dr. Moore broaches the subject of pills and prescriptions and this one condition called ADHD and the sporadic panic attacks he still gets and the very first symptoms of what could be heading into depression territory, he shakes his head no. Stays stubborn. Says, "no, dude. I'm not fu- not wrong enough to need pills. You know that."

"Is writing on people's skin a werewolf ritual of some sort? Because none of the lore I've found says anything about it." Derek looks at him with a blank expression. "Why are you asking?" "Your betas. They have developed the recent habit of using me as a canvas." That gets him a reaction from Derek's eyebrows. Which is as much response from Derek's face as one normally gets.

"Have you ever heard about payback. Derek? You probably have. Well," He says, voice already a wavering wreck. His hand goes for his clothed erection, heel pressing down. He sighs, then moans at the sensation of the zipper digging in. "Payback's a bitch, Derek."

Laura Hale is probably the nicest person Stiles' ever talked to. She's also very, very dead. "I'm, uh, incredibly sorry about digging up your body." Laura, ethereal looking and sitting on a chair of thin air, smiles at him."Oh, don't worry. A guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do."

Seeing twenty four year old Derek smile is terrifying, pretty much. He has only witnessed such a thing a handful of times, and it always feels a little weird. Like the smiles get torn straight out of Derek's soul in a hurtful way. Fifteen year old Derek does it all the time, though, with surprising ease. -Or, the one where Derek gets hit by a spell and is suddenly fifteen again.-

All things considered Stiles is willing to admit that as far as revenges go, Derek's deserves an enthusiastic A.

The thing rubs all over Stiles, getting its scent all over him, and the kid looks like Christmas' come early. It's stupid. The ball of fur is stupid. And Stiles is stupid for picking it up.

Stiles wakes up to pain the likes he's never felt before and to the warmth of a hand laying lovingly on his forehead and a pair of lips resting on his cheek. It feels like his mother, but realism bites him on the ass reminding him that it can't be, that his mother's dead.

For Tony, picking up the violin was a bittersweet moment. It represented things from the past, things he much rather forget. Despite Tony's hatred toward the string instrument, there was little he could do to deny that the violin helped calm him down and focus.
