![]() Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. A Bit About Me: I am female, a very judgemental reader, a voracious reader, a lover of big words, generally polite, more perceptive than some people find comfortable, and a Slytherin with bits of Ravenclaw here and there. Grammar matters greatly to me, but I will not lecture people on the proper uses of irony and so on. I simply dislike it when I see improper grammar. I am by no means saying I have perfect grammar (as I am human and I am therefore incapable of constantly being perfect) but I do try... when I feel like it. Question: Would anyone happen to know how to edit a story once it's been published? I can't figure it out. Pottermore: I am part of Pottermore, and I finished Sorcerer’s Stone the same day I made my account, which gives you an idea of how much of a life I have. *sigh* I am a proud Slytherin, and I don't have anything against people who were sorted into different houses (usually). If you want to know my username on Pottermore you can message me, but I might have trouble remembering it... Things I'm working on: I'mcurrently working on a number of stories, but don't hold your breath for them! I am very busy in real life, so I only post things every once in a while. I was a beta reader/grammar vigilanty for NightWik for a bread periode of time. I did n'ont post them here, as they are not mine, and if you're interested in reading them you shouLd be able to find NightWik fairly easily. I'm also working a little one some Harry Potter stuff, mainly from Severus, Tonks, or Hermione's POV. Im also considering doing some Tamora Pierce fanfiction. It's a fandom I've ignored for a little while, and even though her books are more aimed for younger teens I still love them. I also loved The Black Magicians Trilogy by Trudy Canavan, but I just couldn't get into any of the sequels for some reason. I might post an alternate ending to High Lord at some point. Any open who has read the book will know the mainreason that the fandom would want an alternate ending. Stories published: I have two stories done now, the first being a very short one called Before She Knows, about Tonks before she realises that Remus is being a martyr and as left her...again. It's very very short, but I am working a little at some other stuff that will hopefully a bit longer. The second one, Vulnerable, was written really quickly from a prompt given to me by Proffesor Kayla on the Hogwarts Online II forum (which a lovely forum that you should take a look at). It takes place during Draco's sixth year at Hogwarts when he is trying to fix the Vanishing Cabinet. I haven't ever written from Draco's POV before, so it was interesting to see what he was like. It's also quite short, just under 800 words. These stories are both just one shots and for the moment I have no intentions of continuing them. I'm thankful for the interest though! Things You Really Shouldn't Care About: SPOILER WARNING My favorite pairings: Any two people who are equal and loving towards each other and do not have extraordinarily graphic sex every freaking chapter. That aside, there are some equal loving pairings I prefer: Of the Harry Potter Fandom: HermioneGranger/Severus Snape Black Magician's Trilogy Fandom: Sonea/Akkarin (obviously, as there are really not any other pairings other than the next one) Of the Seven Kingdoms Fandom (Kristin Cashore): Katsa/Po I am not a fan of: Twilight The Hunger Games Shiver, Linger, and whatever other sequels there are. Fallen Fifty Shades of Grey. While I'm all for erotica novels (who doesn't like a bit of smut every once in a while?) I do not like the misconceptions this book gives people about BDSM. There's a lot of dubious consent in these books, and that alone should send make people hesitate before reading these books. Authors, please inform yourselves about BDSM and other similar thingsbefore writing about them! |
