The nightmare was finally over! Liberation rang throughout the wizard world. But the days that followed that fateful night in the Great Hall of Hogwarts would not bring peace to the three most responsible for dipatching the Dark Lord...

Hindsight is 20/20, but when Harry's last steps into the forest set him back further than he'd ever thought, he never realised how grateful he'd be to have Snape there to help too. Mentor/guardian fic, time travel, but not cliched.

Broken and defeated, the War long since lost, Harry enacts his final desperate gambit: Travel back in time to the day of the Third Task, destroy all of Voldemort's horcruxes and prevent the Dark Lord's resurrection…all within the space of twelve hours.
