I am in need of previous and current waitresses from any establishment (especially bars) to kindly explain to me their experience in said field. The good and the bad, if you don't mind. Did you split tips with anyone? Were you ever grabbed by customers? Start a fight? Stop a fight? How common are bar fights? If you can think of anything that will be useful, please let me know. :D I don't think I'll be able to continue White Gold without any kind of knowledge on this.

I do not have the time to write a new chapter every week. As much as I'd love to do that I can't. It would be really awesome to thrust my ideas out of my head and into Word, but so many things occur in real life. Medical issues, jobs, family, freak storms... If it'll slow my progress it'll probably happen; I'm just not Irish enough to have the right kind of luck. Please bare with me - I won't abandon a story unless I absolutely have to.

Further more, please feel free to tell me how entertaining my stories are. :D

Chapter One - On Hold - 3,051 words.
My computer died. Getting it fixed!

Eva is in a financial crisis and in need of a well paying job. Fangtasia is hiring, and their benefits are to die for.

Author's Notes: I don't know why, but I really wanted to write a story about a waitress who works at Fangtasia. I have yet to decide exactly where the story will take place in the True Blood series, but I'll be sure to figure it out before posting the first chapter. Also, as said, this will be in the True Blood universe (perhaps with a few alterations) and not The Southern Vampire Mysteries universe. However, I may slip up on accident and reveal a spoiler for the later books. (If I manage to finish out the series before the third season then I'll probably start deviating from the tv show's plot).
