Our own Mockingjay, Katniss Everdeen, has been scarred and broken terribly by the events of the past few years. After surviving two arenas, an assassination attempt, and the war in general, Katniss has returned home to Twelve. She turns to Peeta, Haymitch, and some old friends to help her move on. But where she searches for only help, she may just find love.

Katniss is alone in District Twelve for a year when suddenly everything changes. Peeta Mellark comes back, put together with a few pieces missing. Katniss is the only one that can put him back together. Will she take a leap of faith and admit to her love, or deny herself the happiness that is being with her boy with the bread? Post- Mockingjay. Rated M for future Everlark goodness.

No matter the distance between us, we will always share grief. Isn't it supposed to be easier by the second time around? Shouldn't that make it a walk in the park by now? No, I don't think I'll ever get used to it. But maybe we can heal together, Peeta and I. Maybe, just maybe, we can put each other back together.
