On reviews: Proper spelling/grammar is good, yes. This applies to both fics and reviews, for Arokat and for you. :)

On yaoi, slash, or shounen-ai (or conversely, yuri, "femslash", or shoujo-ai): See above. Otherwise, it's all good. Haha. It doesn't even need a clear-cut plot. If, however, there are fifty mistakes that could easily have been fixed using spell-check or a beta, or twenty homophones that could have been caught with a simple rereading, that is a fic not worth reading. Especially if all those mistakes can be found in the first paragraph. This goes for all fics, actually. :

On OCs: Eh. It's tolerable, to a certain extent. However, this is fanfiction dot net, so it follows logically that most of the characters should be canon -- or at least in name and appearance.

On activity: The email used by this account gets checked, oh, maybe four times a year, if that. D: Arokat is notorious for having a short attention span, so please please please don't be offended if she drops by to leave a hugely long review for one chapter but disappears for the rest of eternity. Just, um, be happy that your fic was reviewed? And know that if a reply to a review is given, it will be read, just maybe not in the same season as when you sent it. Sorry.
