16 years ago, I saw a book in my local bookstore and said, "that has a cool cover." 8 years later, I sat outside the same bookstore at midnight waiting impatiently for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. 8 hours later, I read the words "All was well," and thought, "now what?" That was when I discovered the world of fanfiction, and although I have read hundreds of books since that night, I always return here when I need a Harry Potter fix.

I teach first grade, and hope that someday my kiddos will experience the joys that come with reading and writing, and the feeling of complete immersion into another world.
