FAQ:
Hey, I love your story, please read mine and tell me what you think!
Sorry, but I can't. I read FanFiction rarely because I work a full time job and I very, very rarely have free time. I'm flattered that you value my opinion so much that you're interested in hearing my advice, but I have a lot of other things in my life that need my attention and as it is, I'm actually quite picky and don't enjoy 99% of the FanFiction I read. In all honesty, I probably wouldn't even enjoy reading my own work if I were someone else. It's nothing personal, but I am very busy and have a lot of requests coming in to read people's FanFiction, so even with all other factors aside, I would have to pick and choose which people to help and that just wouldn't be fair to everyone.
Can you please add (insert character/pairing/plot line) into Walt Disney High School? (or the ruder alternative, YOU NEED TO ADD THIS TO YOUR STORY!)
No. Unless the character/pairing/plot you're interested in was something that is part of my fully planned outline for the story (and trust me, I have a very detailed plan laid out), it will not be appearing. For the same reason, requests about which characters people want to see a chapter focused on next will also be ignored. However, just because the thing you want to see hasn't appeared yet doesn't mean it won't. You should know by now that the storyline is a dynamic one and things are always changing, as they do in real life. But don't hold your breath. And please don't ask me to add whatever it is you want into the story, because you will be ignored, and I don't like having to ignore people because I do value your opinions.
When are you going to update?
Lord knows. But I'd be lying if I said reviews don't impact the writing time. Typically whenever I get a review (especially a thoughtful one rather than just "good story!"), it motivates me to write because it means that there are people out there waiting for the next chapter, and I feel guilty about disappointing them. But when I get only a couple reviews (in particular the view to review ratio on WDHS is exceptionally high - I get about one review for every 250 views), it makes me think maybe people are just reading causally and aren't that invested and don't really care to see what happens next. And that's a totally okay way to be, it's just difficult for me because I put a lot of effort into the planning and writing of these stories so for me it's anything but a "casual" affair. So, if you feel yourself growing impatient but you've never stopped by and let me know what you think, maybe it's time to do so (on WDHS or SoM)!
