![]() Author has written 2 stories for Naruto, and Kingdom Hearts. Well hey guys, I guess if you came here your probably looking to find something out about me. Well for starters I'm a high school senior, and I've been writing for just about my hole life. I started when I was eight, making fanfiction. For years this was the only style I branched out into, until entering high school. There I took creative writing as my elective and wrote what would be one of my first true pieces of literature, which would be received well, with criticism mostly being reserved for towards the length of the stories chapters. It's taken four years of refining but I have found a balance between, detail, sentence length and poetic flow that I use in all my writing today. Though my style is being ever refined I'm comfortable enough with my usability now to start posting some works online. Though I have a fictionpress I rarely use it as all my original works are being prepped for potential publication. However I enjoy fanfiction because of the general lack of claim on it in the first place. Meaning I don't have to sweat so much about theft and other such unpleasant things. Also I find it to be a great avenue for venting frustrating writers block. While I use this avenue sparingly once I get a work started I wont leave followers on here without closer, if its started I will finish it. You may also find me here on FictionPress.com, under the user name NotaHero: http://www.fictionpress.com/u/741020/NotaHero Also I will be updating my profile from time to time, so Columns in it will lengthen and new ones will pop up periodically FAVORITE PARINGS: RIKUxXION : I love this pairing for so many reasons I cant really explain them all. It's felt appropriate since I first saw it as a possibility though, something about the idea of riku falling in love with her but still caring enough about sora to let her reintegrate herself into him seems tragically accurate. Most people argue that this pairing would be ooc for riku but I see it as quite the opposite. SASUKExSAKURA : Ahh yes, one of the more unpopular pairings stemming from the naruto universe these days. Call me a sucker for the classics if you want but this was the first pairing that I actually became interested in all those years ago when I first came across the ninja in orange. TERRAxAQUA : If not for the existence of riku and xion this would be my top pairing. I dont think there is to much to tell about this one. considering this is by far the most likely pairing in KH to become cannon I cant help not supporting it. The character's clear affection for one another made their fate all the more heart breaking. FAVORITE BOOKS: The truancy trilogy: For those of you who do not know what this book series is, consider this a recommendation of the highest kind. The first entry in the trilogy entitled simply Truancy is set upon the stage of a disutopian society. In which the a sector of a totalitarian nation has been put under isolation. This sector known only as the city has implemented a forced control plan. Through the use of education children are raised to obey without question, no matter what they are told, or what emotional and physical stress they are subjected to. The story stars a fifteen year old student named Tack. Unknown to our hero though there is a secret underground resistance is being led by the mysterious enigma Zyid, who's militant brilliance and brutal combat skills have placed the city government under increasing stress. Despite the fact that Zyid and his fellow soldiers are nothing more then former students... The second book entitled Truancy Origins is a prequel to the first book. Chronicling Zyid's rise to power as well as the struggle of Umasi. A young boy at the time who would eventually come to serve as Tacks mentor during the events of the first Truancy book. While the body count in this book is lower then that in the first, lacking the intense military showdowns and assassination it manages to be the superior of the two. Umasi's growth is one brought about by the necessity for survival and over coming the weakness of his own mind and resolve. While the action up to the end is steady, lacking in many of the mind blowing event of the first Truancy, Origins makes up with emotional turmoil, dealing with loss and the inescapable hands of fate that pull Umasi into a dilemma that, while making him a legend among the shady back drop of the city, would at the same time turn his morals into hypocrisy and break his heart. The third book entitled Truancy city has not been released and only the main protagonist name has been given : Cross So yeah check these out they are not given nearly as much attention as they deserve and in my opinion are the most underrated teen fiction you can find. Percy Jackson and the Olympians : To give examples of my two favorite books in this series I will bring attention to the titans curse and the last Olympian, two entries that exemplify fun and action, in a way that neither takes itself to siriusly nor allows itself to be bland. I cant say much about the series in general because that would be to long but I recommend you check these books out. And at the risk of losing friends before I've even made any I do think this series is superior to Harry Potter, which you will never find on my list of favorites. Of mice and men: Its hard to find a book that can bring me to tears. Never did I imagine that one such book would be forced upon me by a required school project. I suppose it wasn't a bad thing though, because this story has become dear to my heart and showed me for the first time how tragedy should be approached. With blunt remorselessness, the very way that life hands us it. Sometimes without any inclination that it is to happen. That is the saddest part and what makes it all the more memorable. Favorite Heroes: Riku: A person is hard to relate to, lets face it everyone is made form separate molds, shaped by the event that is unique to each person. But with Riku I cant help but feel as though we were made from the same mold. With footsteps that have gone down the same roads. Once into destruction then back through the turmoil and pain we had created. Until finally reaching the hard fought prize, only to face uncertainty and live with a silent shame that we keep to ourselves. Riku was the first fictitious character with who I truly admired, and to this day I still look on at the silver haired teen with unreserved fondness. Other Fiction: After Death: A story that I have been working on for about two years now. Though this piece is not the work I am currently working on to be published it exist in conjunction with one that I am. Set in the year 20XX in a alternative universe a high stakes battle wages behind the back drop of a false reality. A reality the people of the world have come to know simply as life, a natural and sometimes beautiful thing. To others life is a hell, tortured and made to suffer through the false guise of existence, until they reach the end of their time, death. The lowest of these are the children subject to evils of unspeakable natures. In the midst of their death though they are offered a second chance, to live the lives waisted in the hands of dark forces. Casting off the casket of flesh they emerge as new beings, made of soul and spirit, unbound from the physical and awakened to the war raging around them, between forces of light and darkness, more horrible then any could imagine. One of these youth, attending the military school Harmony, Cross, while paroling the city of armistice comes across a delinquent girl. And the creature that killed her. This story is a general shout out to all shounen fighting and super power mangas. Featuring characters who have the ability to create black holes and solar flares on a whim. Others who can step freely back and forth through time and some who can make things real as well as thrust them into nothingness. Aionios Layla: The first book I ever started, back in my freshmen year of high school, four long years ago. One that has undergone change after change, with five different versions being drafted before I finally decided where I wanted the story to go and how I wanted it to get there. I cant say much about it though, hopefully you will all know yourselves if I am able to make getting it published into a reality. OC Pairings: A list of the character pairings that I have made cannon in my original fiction. CROSSxKAYLA: A person who has just awaken to a world that is so obscure, so unbelievable finds comfort in the unbelievable itself. Cross is a sardonic figure of power, a soldier trained by the Harmony school of combat. A facility established to train a group of special forces, known collectively as Jumpers because of their ability to "jump" from one plane of reality to the next. Among the student body of Harmony Cross is considered to be atop the elite bracket, matched by few and inferior to even fewer. When he first finds Kayla she has already died, taking her into Harmony Cross is assigned as something of a mentor to her, as she is older then most jumpers when first arriving she needs additional help to catch up with the others among her year. Through the course of this process Cross and her build a genuine friendship. One that is tested when Daren, Cross's friend and rival is instructed to lead an emergency rescue mission comprised of jumper students. During the mission the two, put within peril after peril and forced to the brink of obliteration come to terms with the fact that they are in love with one another. Something that neither of their pasts make easy, and that their future will make into a struggle unlike any they have faced. This is one of my favorite couples, while I like all the ones I create this stands out as what a relationship should be. With neither one relying to heavily on the other. While at the same timing knowing when to ask for help and how to give it without being to needy or pushy. But still facing the struggles of any relationship, from disagreeables, altered perspective, distrust and fallibility of life. |
