I'm Emma. A few things to know about me:

I'm seventeen.

Besides my friends and family, writing and fashion (and field hockey) consume me. But I wouldn't have it any other way.

I plan to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology after I graduate to pursue a career in Journalism, and after that, eventually (and hopefully) land myself a job as an editor in the city that never sleeps, which, in today's competitive age, is a seemingly impossible task.

Most of the stories I write are between the Harry Potter and Twilight characters (although, Twilight is loosing its appeal. The movie kind of ruined if for me. Actually, it completely ruined it for me. Anyone agree?).

I'm not your average Harry Potter fan; prior to reading the other books, I read the sixth one a week or so after it was released, followed by the fifth, the fourth, and the seventh (in that order). I still have yet to read the first three, which I consider to be quite a crime. I won't feel like a real fan until I get around to reading them, but I swear, I am!

Music is my addiction; I cannot write if I don't have music to listen to. It doesn't distract me in the least! My two favorite bands are Saosin and Scary Kids Scaring Kids. If you're into alternative, give them a listen if you haven't already!

One of my biggest pet peeves is incorrect grammar, so think of me and hit the 'spell check' button before you submit your story. And it never hurts to get someone to read it over for you.

I don't know what else to say, except enjoy my stories! There's truly nothing better than getting that email that says someone has reviewed one of your stories. All of you authors know exactly what I mean. =)
