I'm a fifteen-year-old girl weaving my way through everyday life in a small town situated in the East of England. I go by the name of Katy, which was inspired by the What Katy Did books thatI've never managed to read, despite owning them. I like reading fanfiction mainly from the Harry Potter fandom, but recently have been wondering over to the Lord of the Rings section and immersing myself in some good Legolas action. Otherwise I can be found either a) going out with my friends and having a laugh or b) working on my own fics, which are listed below.

Personality wise I can be stubborn, pessimistic, defensive and forthright. I often speak before I think and this can (and has) landed me in trouble with an array of characters. I'm a good listener, a loyal friend and I can keep a secret.

I love... the idea of falling in love (I'm very much a romantic at heart), music, my friends, getting drunk, Whitby, Wales and York, thunderstorms, horror films, staying inwith a good movie and popcorn and getting reviews (hint, hint).

I hate... politicians, liars, back stabbers, brussel sprouts, labels and stereotypes, restrictions, and people who are judgemental of others just because they dress or act a certain way.

Running the Gauntlet
Is about James Potter and Sirius Black. James, trying to move on from a last ditch attempt to get Lily (who secretly likes him) to go out with him, preys on Sirius's object of desire. The results are not good. Based on William Sheakespeare's Two Gentlemen of Verona. Oh, the drama!

A Stake Through the Heart
Is a heavy AU, whereby Lily is a vampire and James a vampire hunter. After he kills her Sire, Lily only has one thing on her mind; to kill the vampire hunter who did this to her Master. James was once the hunter, but now he becomes the hunted.
