Greetings, everyone. I'm Skye, writing under the pen name of "Professor Skylarke", after a character in the first story I posted here, "Harry Potter and the Crisis of Nemesarium." I am currently a freshman in college, pursing a double Major in English and Psychology, also planning on a Film Minor if I can get an independent study on campus. Once out of college, I plan to become a high school English teacher and continue my education as far as the government will allow me to do without falling into debt.

Like most of you here, I am an avid reader who enjoys forum roleplaying, anime, eclectic music, cosplaying, and many things that make life so enjoyable. My favorite authors are Edgar Allen Poe, Franz Kafka, William Shakespeare, Philip K. Dick, Dante Alighieri, H.G. Wells, J.K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and Leo Tolstoy. Some of the anime I enjoy are Revolutionary Girl Utena, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Vision of Escaflowne, Elfen Lied, anything by Leiji Matsumoto (Galaxy Express 999, Captain Harlock, Gun Frontier, Queen Emeraldas, Cosmo Warrior Zero, et cetera), and Ouran High Host Club. There are more, but these are my favorites. Some of my favorite bands are Pink Floyd, the Alan Parsons Project, E Nomine, Nightwish, Daft Punk, Led Zeppelin, Blue Oyster Cult, Culture Club, Delerium, Enigma, and Nazareth. As for a favorite movie...it's probably Queen Christina with Greta Garbo; I'm a sucker for the old films, especially with Greta Garbo, Marilyn Monroe, and Judy Garland.

It is a tad saddening to come on here to find a lack of reviews on my writings. During the end of my high school career, my dear friend Nita (nitamantooth@comcast.net) posted my Harry Potter fan-fiction (an alternate take of Book Six, finished one week after the actual Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince came out) for me while I was working on getting into college and keeping up my grades at a Science & Mathematics magnet school. Well, now I'm in and still busy as ever. However, I am now going to do what I can to interact directly with you fine people. Nita, it was really cute how you wrote my old profile on here; that made me smile. Still, if there is anything I can do to encourage you fine people to leave this poor college kid a review, let me know. I would seriously love to get some feedback.

Nita, thanks for running my FF account for me for God-knows-how long; you've seriously been my "Nemesarist" through this, so I owe you a great deal. Everyone, she's listed as NitaPotter and helped me reformat the Harry Potter story for this website. Thanks go out to everyone who has read my material listed herein, and a huge thanks to everyone who has left a review or more.

In other news, my writing style has matured and become far more polished (especially in the category of character and plot development) since I first wrote my Harry Potter fan-fic approximately four years ago. The later material I will be posting from other projects (best of luck, fans of Fullmetal Alchemist and Naruto especially; you're in for it!) will hopefully prove that.
