Author has written 16 stories for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Misc. Movies, Crusade, and Firefly. American, female, 20s. Ink-stained, wretched hack.Shows I love: The West Wing, Sports Night, Babylon 5, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the X-Files and the Sherlock Holmes of Jeremy Brett and Granada Television. Fanfic I love: I got into reading this stuff because of M.C. Akimoto and her amazing Scully stories. Then I read August and Penelopody and Luna and Baked Goldfish on The West Wing, and I was completely hooked. I admire people who can write long, intricately plotted, multi-part dramatic stories. My own imagination, so far, seems limited to writing around the edges of what already exists and lurking intensely in other people's worlds. Buffy/Giles: I don't think they're in love in the candy-flowers-buying-curtains-together sense. I also don't think it's a father-daughter dynamic. I do think it's an incredibly complicated, intense, ambiguous relationship that fascinates me, which is why I write about it and read others writing about it. |
